If injection failed and one needs implant, how long after the surgery can one use it?
How often can one use it, like how many times a day, a week?
How long would it last?
Is sensation the same as natural erection?

Seems that most docs say not to have sex for 6 weeks. However, some say sooner. So ... 4 to 6 weeks.

After you start sex, you can have erections as often and as many times per day as you want. Your erections will last until you hit the deflate button. My wife and I are lovers everyday.

I think it is usual to have some sensation loss for a while. I had my surgery last November and there is still some numbness at the base of the penis. However, there is no loss of feeling in the glans and orgasm has been easy.

I had implant surgery Nov 01, 2015 and did not have too much problem with pain, in fact I had sex at 15 days out, very carefully and gently. I have had problems with loss of sensation along a large part of the bottom of the penis and in the glans. I am able to achieve orgasm most of the time but it is noting like before Prostate surgery. As far as how often you can use the implant, my Dr. told me as often and as long as you want. There is no 4 hr limit like the erections from injections so I guess all that you need is a willing partner or willing partners
This is a much more difficult journey than I expected or was warned about Even with the problems that I have now I am better off than with ED and having to use injections that may work a little or way too much.
This can be very depressing so I feel that we should be prepared , informed and have realistic expectations. We are not 18 any longer but we also are not ready to live sexless so will it be better than ED, it surely will but don't expect miracles.
