Re: Autoject EI Review on Amazon
I reworked my review:
This has 2 features that make it more useful for Trimix injections than the other Autoinjectors. There is a rod that sticks out the back to display the progress of the injections. If it stops, the rod can be manually forced in to complete the injection. (I had to do it once when the needle stopped moving.)There are 2 versions of the Owen Mumford Autoject® Injection Aid Device - white or blue. I prefer the white (Aj1310) with the longer adapter tip and thicker wall and rifle like groves because it is much more precise. Look at the bottom of both and with syringe installed in the longer adapter has a guide that limits movement and also groves that also helps . I use the SureComfort U-100 Insulin Syringes - 29G 1cc 1/2" - BX 100, you can see why by looking at both adapters with a needle. All the way in my ½ inch needles are set for 5/16 penetration have with very little wiggle out the end. This means the needle will be much more accurate. With an indicator rod and a thicker / grooved barrel, this injector should deliver Trimix more accurately.

I note this model can only be obtained from Amazon?

Re: Autoject EI Review on Amazon
Buying an injector is frustrating. I have 2 Autojectors. Amazon didn't sell the EI model until recently. I bought mine from the same vendor months ago. The EI was not on Amazon then. There is no direct help on it anywhere which is the reason I started this subject. I have been active about this for months. The Autoject EI to me has by far the best system if you can use the barrel with the groves. All other injectors have shot gun barrels. The needle can hit a spot the size of the barrel. With the grooved barrel it is like rifle or pistol.

Re: Autoject EI Review on Amazon
There are at least 4 injectors. I have 2 different Autojects. To me, there is a lot confusion. The Autoject Ei works well for me when I use the barrow/adapter as noted in my review. So far other combos are like a shotguns. The fail too often except I haven't tried a Inject-Ease.
Inject-Ease
Autoject 2 DVCE 1300 own
Autoject 2 DVCE 1311
Autoject Ei DVCE 1310 own
Amazon lists them here

Re: Autoject EI Review on Amazon
I'd prefer the ones you have because you have reviewed them and the Inject-Ease requires myself to push in the medication. Thanks a lot ...
