Trimix - Auto Inject

I achieve 'solid' results with Trimix however I still get very anxious prior. Taking .5 clonazepam helps but I've been considering an auto injector. My doctor (sexual medicine specialist at a major cancer center) does not recommend its' use because it is difficult to achieve accuracy in terms of location. I've read only positive experiences from other folk and would like to hear if anyone has had negative experiences using auto inject. Also if you can recommend any particular injector; it appears that two are most commonly used, Inject-Ease and E1 Auto-Injector. Thanks.

I use Inject-Ease ..works great. You manually press plunger. Very quick. No pain at all with 30G needle.

thanks rahod1. were you ever off target or have a needle break? I use 29 gauge 1/2 inch needles for manual injection.

Never *off target*..since you can be fairly precise in placing it. However, ONCE, I failed to get a reaction for some reason..guess it didn't penetrate properly. I immediately re-injected (after 1/2hr wait) nearby and it worked fine.
I would use 30G needle (1/2 inch) to minimize any pain, but 29G should still be fine. Never came CLOSE to breaking 30G, but you need to take care drawing up fluid so it doesn't bend.
