Can trimex effect hearing and like Viagra.

So I have a suspected venous leak. I'm a young guy (31) and I had tried Viagra and Cialis with marginal results. I have an appointment to get another Doppler ultrasound, this time with more injections and possibly get a prescription for injections if they are effective.

About a year ago I developed pretty severe tinnitus from an accident and I have not taken Viagra or CiIalis since for fear of it making it worse. I have talked with people that have gotten tinnitus or have had their tinnitus made worse by Viagra.

My question is, is Trimix or caverject ototoxic like PDE5 inhibitors? I have checked the literature, and although there are numerous studies linking hearing loss to PDE5 inhibitors, I don't see any with the injectable drugs.

I messed up my hearing in the army, but haven't noticed any problem with injections. I guess everyone reacts differently though? I do have a constant ringing in my ears or head ever since firing a 57mm recoilless rifle without any ear protection. The NCO in charge of the exercise just said to open our mouths and the sound wouldn't bother us. He was wrong. I never bothered trying to get any sort of disability for it since so many had given so much more.

I have been injecting for over five years and currently i am injecting 70 units of triple strength Trimix. Never encountered any hearing issues. Then again, I have taken as much as 150 mg of Viagra without any hearing issues.

Injections will have no effect on hearing.
