Hi: I have read that it is recommended (from posts and my uro) to inject at least 2 times a week to train the penis but it is also posted that repeated injections could lead to scarring.
So where is the happy medium?
Thanks

My uro and the info that comes with my medication (EDEX or PGE-1) says no more than 3 injections per week, and 24 hours between them. I've used more, up to 4 or 5 times some weeks, but had not heard or read of a minimum for rehabilitation.

Hell, I injected once or twice a week for about 2 maybe three years. I never had a hint of Peyronies prior to using injections and that final year I developed a 30% curve. My local urologist said it wasn't the injections that caused it because the scar tissue was not at the injection site. He said it can happen due to trauma to the penis and it may not manifest itself immediately. So, that is how he explained away the Peyronies. I still wonder if it wasn' the injection but his explanation makes more logical sense than my suspicion does. It's a moot topic now anyway since I have an implant.

I had RPP Dec 1, 2014. I began injecting about 60 days after surgery. I injected 4 times a week to keep the endothelium of my penis healthy by providing it oxygenated blood frequently. Subsequently I've regained nocturnal erections and I'm only injecting about 80% of the time for sex. Read Dr. John Mulhall's book "Saving your sex life after Prostate Cancer. He advocates early and frequent injections.

Good luck
