Return of Erections after prostate surgery

guys,
i would like to get a poll of those who have undergone prostate surgery, either open or robotic, and your return to natural erections.
My story:
I had robotic surgery in March of 2015. The doctor said there was 100% nerve sparring and expected an erection return in 6 months..... a little ambitious it appears). I started with bimix then trimix after a couple months after surgery. They work OK, not quite the hardness I would like, and I do have some venous leak (Doppler test in Jan 2017), so sometimes if i lay on my back too long, the erection fades to the point that is not very useful. Returning to upright or on my knees brings it back.
To date I get near zero natural erections and when I do, they are about a 5-6 out of ten. Taking pills helps sometimes but getting hard enough for intercourse AND it lasting long enough to complete isn't a reality (without injecting or course)
So the question, how many of you have had a return or at least substantial return of erections after surgery?
I would appreciate as many replies as possible as i am beginning to think I have reached the end of recovery.
Thanks

Try adjustable cock ring. Put it on right after injecting and leave on for first 30-60 min.
I use this one:

I had to use Cialis, Levitra, or Viagra at maximum dose to get anywhere, then had to start using Cialis combined with Viagra or combined with Levitra, then graduated to Trimix at ever increasing doses, then Trimix 1cc ( 100 units) with one of the pills, a cock ring and vacuum pumping. I DO NOT recommend stacking these meds without checking with your doctor because many if most men cannot handle it. You do not want to die or have a heart attack trying to make your dick hard. Even the NIH now admits that 85% of men will have ED after a prostatectomy and the nerve sparing surgery did not produce the expected drop in the rate. I forgot what news service had that story a couple weeks ago. To date I have never met someone with good results I am sorry to say. Only internet people have said their dick works as good as always. One nut even went as far as to say his dick works better than it did before prostate cancer. I wish I had a good quick fix answer for an easy cheap solution. Use the pills and pump to ward off more issues though is my best advice.

After my RT for prostate cancer, nothing worked except VED. Now I'm happily 'bionic'..

I had an RP in July 2013. Never returned to spontaneous erections. Used all the "therapies over two years with mixed but overall unsatisfactory results. Went bionic in Jan 2016. We are very happy with it. The whole story is posted. Search on cincinnatus.
Good luck

February 2 will be exactly one year since my open rp. Zero in terms of natural erections except for a single occurrence (last week in fact, lasting about 60 seconds). I am on Cialis 5mg daily, hopefully things will return to pre-surgery status. Meanwhile I am having 100% success with trimix and am overall satisfied with our sex life.

I love this site but it does make me depress sometimes. I had my surgery February of 2016. Dr. said 75% of the nerves where saved. So now 14 months after surgery I get no feeling of an erection. The tri mix works with a lot of pain. in between shots I take Cialis. Dr. Petal did my surgery in Fla. my local urologist told me last month that the probability of me getting my erections back is not good if something hasn't happen yet. I am 58 now and before surgery I was having sex 4 times a week. More then that on vacations

Patel did mine in July of 16. He said I should be seeing some progress anytime now. With manual stimulation I get something but not hard or long enough for sex. Pumping and a ring work but I find it very clumsy and unspontaneous. Aprostadil injections work but it took awhile to get the right dose. They told me not to get discouraged and keep trying.
One of the nurses in the office keep in mind that it takes 18 months to 2 years to get it fully back.

tybeeman,
i actually had the surgery with Dr Patel too in celebration, FL. it was march 2015. he was very positive on the return of erections, and like i mentioned, he expected it to happen in 6 months.....not! i dont have any negativity towards him or the team as i felt he was the best option for me.
i do get a few night time erections, if i take 15-20mg cialis. sometimes none. i can get an erection manually if i keep up the motion for a few minutes, again with cialis. (seems that viagra has stopped working at all). the erection is ok, but doesnt last.

13 months after robotic to I was able to have a firm enough erections for intercourse with Viagra. Headaches from Viagra, Cialis, and others all gave me incredible headaches. Began Trimix three years post surgery with very satisfying results. Natural erections have gotten much firmer since the use of Trimix this past year but not strong enough for intercourse. But I am very comfortable and satisfied with doing injections. For me Trimix use is now my natural.
