Bad Injection Question

Made an injection that didn't want to go in but forced it down and injected.Of course no erection and is a little swollen at the injection site and pretty painful for about an hour now. Will I just absorb the meds and be ok?Penis is pretty red top to bottom including the head.I now know to stop and withdraw the needle if I don't break through.Hoping this will subside!!

gjm,

Yes that is part of Injections 101 ... don't force the plunger.

It can be caused by the needle going into the tough tunica but not into the corposa.

Could also be a glancing needle off the tunica and just into the thin flesh around it..

Same result either way - no joy and some pain or bubble etc.

Still got a pretty good swollen spot at the injection site hoping it will go down!

The needle probably deflected off the tunica, tougher in some spots than others I've found. Another thing is the brand of needle used. I really like the sharpness and quality of BD Needles, no problems like some other "cheap" needles, BD's slide right in!

I use BD also, which surprised me that it didn't go through!

The swelling may be due to the Trimix accumulating under the skin which will eventually be absorbed without an issue.
