In April I had robotic prostate surgery . I have maintained
a great sex life with my girl friend using trimix injectable
I use Viagra and I am starting to get a full meatiness but not enough to insert in her vagina
How long will it take .all though the needle isn't painful. There isn't the kind of intimacy that we like .
Also I stay hard 2 to 3 hours it's pushing the priopisum thing a little to much
How long will it take for my penis to work normal again

First, welcome to FrankTalk. It is good to have you among us. I'm also PCa with robotic surgery. You may find this hard (no pun intended) to believe but for 6 mos post-op you are doing quite well with him. WOW! The healing of the nerves and pathways takes time. More time than we guys like or want to accept. You are showing response and usability- man, I wish I had been there within 6 mos. . . . What is your age?
You will probably continue to do "better" for up to 3 - 4 years after surgery. Question. Are you using a pump? If not you may wish to add that to your program as it brings blood into the shaft. If you don't at this point, look under the Treatment Section of this site and find the Prelude. It is a good start and is a "soft" pump. While not good for sex it does a nice job of getting him ready and up for the coming events. It is not expensive and easy, fun to use. I did not find this site until 3 + years post-op. I started with the Prelude and then went to a medical type pump (expensive). The people at the Prelude company are very good and easy to work with. The Prelude comes in 2 sizes- determined by your girth not length. I am 5 years post-op and still continue to see improvement. But, we have to work at Penile Rehab and it is best done as a team sport so you have a nice advantage with a willing partner.
Talk with your doc concerning the dosage, time, hard and priapism. The 2 - 3 hours should not be an issue for that side effect but as I understand the dosage can probably be adjusted to shorten the "hard" times somewhat.
Now, most of us would agree that the PCa treatments will leave us with a new normal. It will be different than before and that isn't all bad. Many of us find the climax is much stronger and lasts longer. That is an enjoyable result and no doc seems to knows why this is so. Others have a much different experience. We guys are all different with age, health status and treatment experience and heal differently.
Keep your sense of humor- it is needed and practice often. Yeah!! Please view lots of the posts here as there is great information. Join in the chatroom when you can. Sometimes there is no one and other times 5 -8 guys. The discussions are frank, wide ranging, bawdy at times; but it is a welcoming and supporting place.
Thanks for joining.
Regards,
Dick
