Trimix Storage

There have been a couple of posts that I read about using syringes pre-filled with Trimix and then frozen. Can't seem to locate them now. The syringes that I use have caps over the needle and plunger end. You want to avoid accidentally pushing the plunger but you cannot put the cap back on the plunger end as it will push out the trimix. How do you keep that from happening?
Also, there was one post where a guy said he had left trimix out at room temperature for, I think, all day, with no loss of potency. Anyone have experience with long exposure to room temp?

I store pre filled syringes all the time with the cap off with nonproblem, just put it where it won't be pushed by another object.I have read on here of Tri Mix being left at room temp all day with no problem,I use mine within 15-30 minutes after removing.

Like gjmjoe017, I always keep 4 or 5 filled filled syringes in the freezer stored in a freezer bag. They will thaw in your fingers in a minute or so ready for use. I don't think you will see a reduction in strength if left out for a day.

You can store syringes without plunger cap in a special container for storing syringes. They come as a tray or as individual tubes. You can do a search on GOOGLE for those. I have both....but never used the trays. I use the individual tubes for temporary storage (less than a day) in frig after withdrawing from frozen vial. I always keep vial frozen, not syringes.
