I have been using bimix for 10 years. The price has slowly increased over the years. BUT WOW...My last order doubled in price. Actually my compounding pharmacy said they would absorb 50% of the increase for now. Bottom line I used to pay about $90 for a 5ml bottle. I paid $153 this time and they put it in 1 ml vials (5). Pharmacists tried to explain new testing regulations have increased cost.
Has anyone else run into this issue with bimix or trimix. I am in California. Thanks for your comments.
On a side note, I am finding the bimix less effective as I age (76). I am now using 30mg per injection which is up 30% over past years. I do not want to change to trimix again, but will consider it. Any comments.
CRAZY price increase for Bimix
Re: CRAZY price increase for Bimix
I pay $150 for 5 ml of Trimix delivered in Ca. However, I only use 12 units. I stay with them because of dependability and service. Packages are always well refrigerated.
I would switch to Trimix so you can use LESS. I use 20ugPGE/2 Phent/30 PAP formula.
You may also want to shop around nationally for best price on Bimix.

Re: CRAZY price increase for Bimix
Never did use it... but by the time pills and injections all failed, my urologist/surgeon said the only things left for me were Penta-Mix or an implant... but that the Penta-mix would most likely stop working within 6 months. I went with the implant.
Re: CRAZY price increase for Bimix
I am in Canada. This past month, the compounding pharmacy told me new regulations went into effect and as a result, it can no longer compound trimix. I scrambled to find another pharmacy and told only 2 left in the whole city. I found one of them in town who would still make it but I don't know about the quality and price yet. Will try it out after I finish the current supply
ED many years, failed PDE5i, on Trimix but recently needing large increasing strengths and doses

Never heard of this. What's the formula?

That's the way my Trimix started to fail. When I went to see my URO he told me in a nice way that a implant was now my only option because it won't get any better even with increased dosage per injection.

Interesting...I wonder why it fails after time....unless OTHER factors (venous leak) appear. I'm 71 and have been using trimix for a year now after pills lost effect. No degradation in potency of this medication. 100% hard. I inject once a week on average.

I honestly had no idea until you just asked! Searched and found this:
PentaMix:
Papaverine=30mg/mL;
Phentolamine Mesylate=4mg/mL
Prostoglandin E1=5.88ug/mL
Forskolin=100ug/mL
Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptid = 30ug/ml

Hope that helps!
