Hi everyone. First time posting on this forum. I have learned a lot by reading the topics and posts, and you all sound like a great group, so here I am.
I tried Bimix (30/0.5). A full dose of 1 ml worked fairly well. A half-dose did little.
So my uro bumped me up to Trimix (30/0.5/10), and still wants me to shoot up 1 ml. He didn't respond to my online inquiry about the mix, so I talked to the pharmacist, who was a very big help. I'm hoping to get it down to a half-ml, as $22 a ml is a lot for me. So, we'll see what happens.
Anyone have any luck with the low dose ratio? The pharmacist says that's the typical mix in his shop. I only got a 2 ml bottle, so I guess I can request a higher mix next time, depending on the results. He suggested I shoot the full 1 ml the first time. If that works great, to try 0.7 ml the next time. And if that still works great, there should be about 0.5 ml left in the bottle to try.
I went in to see the uro with the intent to be on the road to implants. He said we had to try the injections and see if they are effective. Pills stopped working for me. This problem is about 20 years in the making, and I told him my wife deserves better, so I am willing to give it all it takes for her.

Trimix ratios
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.
Re: Trimix ratios
grand,
What are these guys thinking? I guess they are thinking... "Well It's not MY dick so who cares how much he sticks in it".
Adding 30mcg PGE-1 to BiMix will at least double the strength -- maybe more. So probably start out with .50 ml and pray.
If 1 ml of BiMix did well, that is not very promising for your shooting future since that is a high volume.
If .50 ml of trimix works as well that would be manageable. You will just have to find a cheaper on-line source, although it seems to be running around $100 for 5 mls no matter what these days.
Good luck!

Re: Trimix ratios
No, the mix is this:
30 Papaverine
0.5 Phentolamine
10 Prostaglandine
That appears from what I've read here and other places to be a low mix.
I paid $44 for 2 ml bottle.
I contacted Empower, and they want proof of prescription to give me a quote. I got that, so I will send that to them. Their website says Trimix comes in 30/1/10 and 30/2/20.
The other compound pharmacy I see on here, Trylon, isn't licensed for my state. However, he told me on the phone that it is about $79 for a 10 ml bottle. That would be doable.
Any others I should try for a quote?

I use Avela Pharmacy in Phoenix which was charging $80, including shipping, for 5 two ml vials. However, the last time I ordered it was about 9 months ago.

Thanks. I've inquired at Avela.
Forget about Olympia. They quoted me $199 for a single 5ml via shipped. Yikes.

It's not a *low mix*...pretty much standard, except for the Phent which is usually 1.0. Low mixes are 40-50% less than what you have on the Pap and Prost.

Re: Trimix ratios
Though I'm going to try to get my urologist to increase the amounts, as I'm having to use 50 units (moderate spinal cord injury.)
I'm currently at,
Papaverine - 29.4
Phento - 0.98
PGE-1 (Prostaglandin) 9.8
I also have added 50 mg of Viagra, which keeps me erect from 2 to 3 hrs., but my 8 month old (always frozen) prescription still works great, and in Dec. of 2016, cost me $200 for five 2 ml vials, alcohol pads and syringes from Avella Pharmacy in Phoenix, with about a one week delivery, once paid over the phone.
If anyone knows if a higher concentration can be compounded, I'd love to hear about it, as I'm only getting about 4 uses per vial, at 50 units per injection.

Olympia Pharmacy offers a "super Trimix" blend: Papaverine 30mg / Phentolamine 3mg / Alprostadil 100 mcg/ml. That's rocket fuel. Other compounders can blend that formula as well. But Olympia is also super expensive. Talon Compounding can blend super Trimix at less than half what Olympia charges.
Be careful with such a powerful mix, assuming your doctor will prescribe it. Few people learn to drive using a Ferrari. With your current formula you should take your time and move up slowly. It can take some months to figure things out.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Re: Trimix ratios
My doctor specifically told me not to use Viagra/Cialis/Levitra the same day as injecting. I see on this forum some do that.
I've received quotes back from several compound pharmacies, and none that ship here are less expensive than my local one. One was considerably more.
Taylon gave me a quote that was considerably less, the only one to do so, but unfortunately they don't ship to my state. Damn!

I found ways to get around the shipping issue. I travel a fair amount, and when I am in a state they are licensed to ship to I have them overnight a couple vials to a UPS store near my hotel. Works like a charm every time. You could also have them ship to a close friend or relative in another state and have them reroute the package to you. I'm really only comfortable with having them ship to me when I'm visiting a state they are licensed in. I order enough to last 6-9 months. The savings is significant, indeed.
