So, guys, I finally received some prospect from my urologist, and we are going to try injections. but I'm worried with the quality of the erections. There was a topic about glans not swelling some days ago and it seemed like a normal problem. It would be a bit frustrating for a guy like me, cos my size is only regular due to the massive swelling my glans has. So, anyone can give me a good picture of what's really coming? Will the erections be not so good and big as the normal ones?

I'm only speaking for myself but I don't understand why so many say that the glans don't swell. Mine looks like a big apple about to explode after injecting so I guess it affects people differently. Just saying..,

I guess it has to do with the medication. Mine will be caverject, which does not seem as good as trimix for example. At least I've been seeing lots of complaints about it.

Caverject is a brand name version of straight alprostadil. I use straight alprostadil. It works just fine. Have a positive attitude, be optimistic and enjoy your new boners.

I'm one of those guys, my penis head does not swell with a Trimix injection but it does to a natural
erection on the rare occasions one decides to show up AKA morning wood ... But I do have a theory on my situation and I'm going to talk to my Urologist again about it.. My theory at least in my case is that because my prescription is considered very weak starter 5.88au /18mg/0.6mg and only need 10 units which is also considered a pretty low dose which in turn gives me a 2.5 to 3hr erection, so it may not be potent enough or enough volume to make the head swell .. Now I definitely don't want to try a higher volume for fear of a trip to ER because my 2.5 to 3 hr erection is definitely long enough time for me. Now also although I get a good solid erection it's not at its full potential in other words it's not skin stretching tight I gotten longer thicker natural erections because I've taken measurements many a times over the years..The last Natural erection measurement was about 1.5 year ago and was 7" length and 5 3/4" girth with a swollen head 10 scale rigid and has always been pretty consistent over last 10 years .. My Trimix erections seem consistent also only 7 but are 6.5" length and just shy of 5 1/2 " girth without a swollen head , which btw looks a bit funny with that much girth and a flaccid spongy head .. So I'm loosing 1/2" in length and a little over 1/4" of girth. Now , I'm grateful that I can achieve a erection and yes it's plenty good enough to get the job done plenty rigid enough 8.5 scale of 1 to 10 but it's not reaching it's potential... Brite side, it's not painful at all that 2.5 to 3 hrs is definitely not annoying or uncomfortable.. So Im torn between asking my Urologist about bumping me up to the next higher standard level of 10au /30mg/1mg once again is not very potent compared to some to see if that helps .. Now I'm sure I'll have to lower volume probably 5 units but it's stronger meds which in turn may get me my full potential back and possibly swell the head so it don't look like a NFL tackle with a midget football helmet sitting on his head . I just don't want to seem like I'm complaining because I'm grateful to be able to achieve a useable erection because oral pills don't work and it has been over a year Struggling with ED . I guess maybe be nice since I'm sticking a needle in my dick might as well try and achieve maximum potential right?

Be sure to continue pumping with a VED between injection uses. Between the two I've pretty much regained my original size. I can't quantify that as I never really measured prior to my RP and resultant ED. I can't really get any erection unassisted but a viagra assisted VED erection can be 7" and hold there with constriction ring for a fair while with stimulation. I get a 6" erection with an injection fairly quickly which can grow to 6.5 or even push 7" during peak use or stimulation. My girth has grown from the combination of VED and injections. I haven't measured it recently but I think it measures at a good 6.5". The length measurements are with a bone pressed ruler. For me, both the VED and injections became more effective after some time. Neither worked real well initially. Initially nothing would give me more that a fatter misshapen floppy. That was discouraging. I now have the experience to tell you not to get discouraged.

Point being, don't get discouraged or give up too soon. You may or may not get outstanding results from the start. Have a positive outlook and go for it. Don't stress and try to enjoy the learning experience.

I won't say it's common because it's just my experience but like I've said it may very well be what I suspect that my prescription is just weak with combination of low dose ..But I won't know this until I speak with my Urologist ..
