Hey all-I just wanted to bump this up and see if there are others not satisfied.
I've been off of here since I was implanted with an AMS late 2014 at the age of 34. While pills worked, they gave me horrible migraines. I was happy with Tri-mix, but found it very cumbersome as a single guy trying to discreetly inject prior to a hook up. I made the decision to get implanted by a great, large-volume, implant surgeon.
At my first inflation after surgery, I was disappointed that I lost significant length. Also, I'm not really sure what I was expecting with regard to the discretion of the actual pump, but I find that when I get intimate with someone I haven't been with before, as soon as the other person starts to play with my balls, they immediately feel the pump and then, at least for me mentally, things become awkward and it sort of kills the mood. In fact, I had one person message me later after they left, saying that I should have it looked at by a doctor. Lol... They were concerned it was cancer or something. I find myself constantly trying to find ways to keep the other persons hands away from my balls. As a gay man, and as a result of the, shall I say, embarassment of the implant, I've found myself on the receptive end of things, so rarely use the implant and have contemplated just removing it.
All that being said, I haven't had issues with sensation. I'm able to ejaculate just fine masturbating with the implant deflated, as I usually do, and inflated, as well ejaculate when penetrating and inflated. I've found, however, that sometimes I have to pump the implant to make it rigid enough for insertive anal sex, such that there is a little bit of pain that can be somewhat distracting. I've wondered if maybe I haven't pumped enough over the years and maybe I would've gained more length. I just pumped up and got about 19 pumps in before it started to get a little uncomfortable-where it feels like the tips are going to pop through the head. Are some of you guys pumping more? I feel like I've read some guys getting 40 pumps in, which just sounds impossible to me. I'm wondering, in retrospect, if Dr. Karpman would've been a better option, since you come out of surgery inflated. My surgeon did not do that-I was fully deflated. Are there other surgeons that do that, and who are they? Perhaps I should consider talking to Dr. Karpman or one of the others about revision before I consider removal? Any thoughts guys!?
Thanks for any advice or insight any of y'all can provide!
