I would be very interested to hear user comments regarding their experiences with each, the Titan and the LGX. Does the Titan provide any regained length? I have read that the LGX does provide for regained length and wonder if this is a marketing ploy or is this a reasonable expectation? Is there typically a loss of length after implantation? And I am sure there are answers out there to questions that I don't even yet know to ask. I look forward to everyone's comments.

Titan versus LGX
Re: Titan versus LGX
Jetman,
I recently read a recent article from some uro conference proceedings that showed now days shortening from IPPs is more perceived than real. Apparently in the past docs would opt for shorter rather than longer cylinders which of course results in shortening. Apparently now days that happens less, at least with the more experienced surgeons. Sorry i cant find the article now.
From all I've read, the AMS 700 LGX is going to best maximize your potential.

thanks for your response. Which model do you have? (perhaps you prefer to privately respond to this question?)

Go down this thread to "My Journey by JackP" it tells of my journey through peyronies, ED, low testesterone, venous leakage and corporal fibrosis.
I have also read articles where doctors did not put in fill size cylinders. These men complained of loss of length and floppy head (glans). The real good doctors put in an implant that fits your corporal measurements.
I have the AMS 700 LGX and have gained back over 90% of my length lost to peyronies. My girth has returned to my youthful 6.28".
I have posted on this forum a copy of the email between Todd Doran MS PA-C at Vanderbilt and myself. They mostly use the LGX because it has a more natural look and feel, there exception is the larger penis, greater than 7". that is when they use the Titan. If you would like a copy of that email send me a message to jwp104@att.net. I also have more information I can forward to you, or anyone else that wants a copy.
In looking for a doctor to do an implant be sure to check out his qualifications. You want a Male Sexual Function Specialist, not a general practice urologist (made that mistake the first time.) A doctor that does at least 100 implants a year. Just because the doctor has been to a forum and listed on a manufactures web site does not mean he/she has all these qualifications. Less than 10 doctors in the US do over 80% of implants. When you go to a doctor be sure to have a printed list of questions, and ask them. The great doctors will answer your questions before you ask.
Good Luck

Re: Titan versus LGX
What are the names of the Drs that do appox. 80% of the implants? I think this would be helpful. Thanks
Re: Titan versus LGX
funny thing is that they have no problems making a womens breast huge with implants but here we are discussing just trying to get back to our normal size...thats rediculous I think.. and if I were a doctor doing this, I will be sure to make sure my mentality is that not only is my patient operational but make sure that I get them as big as they were before baring a prasectomy.
Re: Titan versus LGX
To answer your question, at least partially, Dr. Perito in Miami probably does the most. I think he does around 500 a year. I just had my implant done on Sept. 29th and it has been thus far a very positive experience. Certainly if you or anyone else would like to know more about my experience I am quite happy to discuss it further.
It hasn't been a month yet, but next follow-up is next week and am hoping at that meeting I will be cleared to use it. It has been only partially pumped up thus far and can say that it looks and feels a whole lot better than it did prior to my surgery.
I am sure there are many good "installer" out there...Dr. Milam's name seems to pop up often as does Dr. Eid in New York. Hope this has helped and feel free to contact me.
