I haven't been on in quite awhile. You know how it is. Get the procedure done and just disappear to try out your new equipment forgetting about all the guys that need to continue hearing your story. I apologize for that. So let me make amends to you and catch you up....
I went through the couple of failures early in my fifties thinking I must've drank too much or something. It progressively got worse. I took viagra and all the different pills. They worked for about 6 months. Then I was talked into trying the tri-mix injections. Worked great....for about 6 months. After that nothing worked. My wife and I had to stop completely other than I did things for her and masturbated. I made an appointment to see Dr. Thomas Walsh at the Men's Health Center at the University of Washington (state). I had my implant procedure done in Feb 2016 and it is by far the best decision I have ever made. I waited and tried everything else....yoga, meditation, supplements, etc. thinking I must've missed something and not wanting to give up my natural erections. Then my wife told me one day, "what natural erections? You're not having them anymore so what can you lose by trying?" We have been having the most incredible sex ever since. I am harder now than I was even as a teenager and it doesn't go down after ejaculation. What's there not to love? Especially from the woman's point of view. She's the one who has had you go soft or not get hard at all, helped you through your frustration, etc. Women do not care how you get hard, just that you do so you can be intimate with them again. When I am at the doctor's off ice or in the locker room or shower at the gym, I now can walk proudly because the implant made me bigger even when deflated. It has grown in size when pumped up too. My wife loves it. If you are on the fence about it and having these kinds of issues, don't hesitate any longer. You are making the right choice. Just make sure you pick a highly qualified surgeon that performs alot of these surgeries so you get a great outcome. I am now a telephone counselor with Boston Scientific and talk with guys that have questions. I love doing that. They said I could speak at a conference also but haven't asked me to do that yet. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'm back on here for good now.

Some time later...
Problems began in 2011 at 51 yo. I did testosterone/HCG/Anastrozole but it didn't fix erections. Pills and tri-mix worked then failed. Had AMS 700 CX installed on Feb 2nd 2016 by Dr. Thomas Walsh at University of Washington.
Re: Some time later...
Thank you for coming back and posting an update Larry. It really does mean a lot for us who are speculating an implant. Cheers and hope to hear more good stories from you.
33 y/o, suffering from ED as long as I can remember. Never had random boners. Pills worked for a few years, but now losing efficacy. Venous leak confirmed by Dr. Garber. Likely going the implant route at some point.
