Just my thoughts., maybe one of the thoughts helps you.

1. Have you ever tried to fix venous leak. My urologist checked if i had Venoys leak, which i didn't. But if had venous leak he would fix it by ligate some veins. He said he helped a lot of clients with this method (he is not commercial, so it's not for his profit)
2. You can do the procedure for about 8-10 K in Belgium, by 100+ a year doc.
3. Have you checked if you can get money back by your taxes? Over here in The Netherlands i can get a about 30% back by Tax return. I don't know how that is in Swiss, but you can check that.

Good luck.

It sucks that after so many years, this procedure is still mentioned and indicated as a cure for venous leak. I am yet to see, read or talk to anyone that was fixed by ligation. A lot of guys had this, surgery and it was a waste of money and time, and more often than not they got worse. How screwed up is that?

Mysogynistic or not, your comments are valuable. Feelings are part and parcel of E.D. Franktalk is not limited to medical advice on procedures, but also on relationship advice.

Reality is reality and if we ignore any voice, the value of the discussion is lessened. Please do not delete/leave.

You are not misogynistic. Some guys just bend over backwards for women while others don't.

I for one, will never allow a woman to dictate anything related to my manhood.

I for one, will never allow a woman to dictate anything related to my manhood. Especially if it's involving the restoration of propper sexual functions.

This isn’t a barroom gathering for good ol’ boys to bash a man’s wife. I can’t find one sentence where the op asked for opinions of his mate. He would be within his rights to deck a couple participants!

Feelings are part and parcel of E.D. Franktalk is not limited to medical advice on procedures, but also on relationship advice. Yes, some of the comments bordered on (or even were) attacking his wife. But FrankTalk does encourage unfettered expression of feelings, as well as acceptance of apologies.

I beg to differ with your second sentence I quoted above. The original post mentioned Mrs (O.P.)'s reasoning. While this does not invite opinions on the lady herself, it does open up opinions on her reasoning or motives. Venturing an answer there is a tenuous thread through a minefield, for sure, and compels care in comment. But FrankTalk discourages any limitation that would have a chilling effect on comment. (For better or worse.)

To me, the lady needs no defense as morally outraged as her husband is justified if he chose to react that way. I believe he has utter faith in her good faith and believe their marriage is plenty strong enough to withstand a few un-understanding reactions (heatedly?) posted here. Everybody has baggage and we might do well to forgive them a bit, as we need forgiveness ourselves sometimes. He displays himself as a true gentleman to have ignored such assaults. He has my abject admiration.

Degradation swings as a pendulum does. Sometimes more, sometimes less. At least, I have faith that the collective wisdom of the population here will see that it comes to pass.

Yeah! If letting a denatured spider bite me on the dick could results as my youthful erections - spontaneously and in response to attentions from my partner, THAT would be a miracle worth having!!!

On the topic of waiting for new treatments on the horizon, I spent a few years following the development of Brazilian wandering spider venom. When ER doctors get a man brought in unconscious with a throbbing erection they know he was likely bitten by a wandering spider and will soon die without immediate treatment. Researchers have isolated and synthesized a protein in the venom responsible for the immediate erection and have eliminated the usually fatal toxins. Testing was done on aged, obese and impotent male rats who promptly began breeding generations of offspring. As far as I recall human trials are a few years off. The important thing was erections were nearly immediate for the rats and wore off after a few hours. Obviously a medication such as this would obsolete every current ed med in existence. So there would be an immediate push back from big pharma intent on protecting their revenue stream of billions yearly. Might be something to start following though?

Off topic. I finally did a little searching on this. Sure looks promising. BUT, it is so far away from human trials that most of us won't live to see it on the market. I don't even dare to guess at what the price could be. Still has the down side of a delay after application before results are seen.
Just my opinion, at this point I think the implant is a more viable option.
Btw Dave, nice to see you drop in once in a while. Keep stopping by.

Here's a +1 for your post. I couldn't agree more with your comment. Not only ED makes men super vulnerable emotionally, there's a cultural component to this as well. In my home country things are very different. Think America in the 60's,/70"s... But slowly changing...
