I have the AMS 700. I know how to squeeze the button to initiate deactivation. However, to get completely flaccid, do I squeeze it (also) while I am squeezing the button or after? Should I squeeze it hard?

Proper Deflation
Re: Proper Deflation
after you have "popped" the button in for defaltion, you can squeeze the cylinders as much as you like to attain a more flacid look and feel.

When you press the button to deflate ... you can feel the fluid (feels like little bubbles) returning thru the valve (button) AMS say hold the button 4 sec. to deflate. You will find it takes longer than that. The first few times it may be uncomfortable to hold the (spring-loaded) button that long.
You can deflate ... wait a few seconds, hold the button again and squeeze the shaft to deflate as needed. It does not hurt to squeeze the shaft. With time this will get easier and becomes second nature.
Now the first few weeks it may feel like a kink in the cylinders ... (think folding a straw) where the edges of the cylinders fold downward when flaccid. If uncomfortable try pumping once or twice to relieve the "kink" ... once your body gets used to the new equipement, you won't even notice this ...
