Here's a bonafide fact based on my experience with being implanted two and a half years ago. Within 6 months it's entirely your new normal and you accept it the same as you do your nose or ears. You don't notice or think about it. The only thoughts I ever have about mine are I know beyond any doubt whatsoever I can be ready for great sex any time in less than a minute.
Became DaveKell 2.0 on July 18th with Dr. Allen Morey in Dallas, TX. AMS 700 CX implant. 18cm with 5.5 RTE's.

Thanks guys! I guess I have to keep repeating my mantra for a bit longer (patience, patience, patience).
I am so eager to start cycling that I guess I am just not looking at the bigger picture:( (I really do want the great sex ANY time goal, lol).
Your responses have been amazing, hope more will respond.
I like the response of the golf ball because I tried to get on my bike about 2 weeks ago, and THAT was a mistake! It did feel like I was sitting on a golf ball. Went home, got my athletic supporter cup, and just had a chance to ride this past Sunday. Now my tailbone hurts, go figure! It was not even over 5 miles and no hills (ACL on left knee).

Implant for two years now and find that i still have to make positional adjustments to keep it in a comfortable position. Generally have to move it back to the side or it puts pressure in the front of my pants and gets uncomfortable. Pumping and releasing is very easy and quick to do now.
55 yo Aussie. E.D all my life. Used Viagra for years but. Went on to Injections which worked well but very inconvenient and didnt work sometimes. Implanted Jan'18 with Titan one touch 20cm/ 1.5RTE by Pro Chung in Brisbane.

AMS 700 done on January 29 of this year. I walk in your shoes, sir! Most challenging for me is getting situated in my car - - God Bless 8-way power seats.

I had a follow-up with my Urologist yesterday. He opined that I am, in all probability, going to need a revision when elective surgery is allowed once again. He believe I have "sprung a leak."

Thanks for sharing to you and our Legion of Bionic Brothers. Nice to know one has "shipmates."

Lol, 8-way power seats, I still have my 2006 Civic, automatic, so I can only imagine.
Sprung a leak? How so? Are you able to pump? Please describe what is happening. I think I may have found my valves, but something is covering it and affecting the feeling. I feel like I have touched a tube or vessel that I am not supposed to touch.

I have pretty much healed, but constantly reminded that I have an IPP (Inflatable Penile Prothesis), namely the pump section.
Now, I know that handling yourself, yes, you would know, but just walking around, my balls feel tight, even though they are just hanging. When I sit down or lie down, the pump gets in the way because mine was set a bit lower because of previous infection.

The most constant reminder of my implant is my girlfriend
Occasionally, I feel the pump when getting in or out of my car. It is my new "normal" and I am accustomed to having the extra parts in my scrotum and find the trade-off (what little there is) quite satisfactory.

ROFLOL! GF huh? How does she remind you of it constantly? By riding it when she feels like it since she can pump it and you just lay back?

Finished appt. with Dr. He wants me to grab my pump, gently pull down and forward. I told him about the way I have been sleeping and squeezing my balls in inadvertently, therefore needing the pillow.
We went through the valve thing, and pulled out the key chain to try to get the process right, but he wants to see me physically in May (hopefully). I think I know what to do and have to practice when I shower tonight.

It's been about 6 months for me. I have to chuckle at some of the questions here because I asked my surgeon the same ones before I found this forum. Thank you FrankTalk. Penoscrotal or infrapubic, how long will the pain last, the swelling, bruising, ice and hot baths, semi hard on, I had it all. What underwear works best, cant find the deflate button, cant crush the rock hard marble that is the pump. Then one magic day 29 days out, the pump bulb crushed and I was able to inflate. We had slow, slippery, delightful sex and all was forgotten. I learned how to cycle, more slippery sex. Got used to the constant battle between the pump and testicles. They finally made up, and did I mention slow slippery sex. I still cycle every night and 2 or 3 times a week we have slow slippery sex. Do I think about my implant? You bet, every time I pump it up. Slow and slippery has turned into fast and hard when she wants me to. Patience is the key. We are all anxious to use our new toys and regain the confidence that comes with being able to satisfy our partners every time. It will come in time and when you look back, you'll laugh and smile too. Welcome to the brotherhood.

Agfa13:

Mine is a 2020 Ford Explorer. Frankly, the 8-way seat makes it possible for me to drive at this stage of the healing/recuperation journey.

Still cannot pump on my own. Urologist did pump me up on Monday - when I saw the inflated length I, literally, wanted to weep. I knew I would lose some - - but I didn't have much to lose in the first place. Kinda depressing. But I knew the risk going in so I don't blame anyone except the man I see in the mirror.

From his exam (which hurt like hell), he believes I do have an internal leak. Where do I go from here, I guess I'll find out. To add to my woes, my PSA came back at 8.7! He plans to repeat the blood test on 4/24. If it's still high, a biopsy will be around the bend. Life can be so much fun!

WTF, there's always someone with more on their plate than me. It is what it is.

The ongoing saga of Penis Place.
