Pump is noisy and difficult to pump

Has anyone had issues with their genesis pump on coloplast titan being firmer while pumping and making a loud noise? It used to get firm only when i would approach max inflation, now it is like that the entire time. My doctor said it may be the valve sticking. Hope it's not leaking or anything

My advice is to contact the Patient Liaison from Coloplast. They often have undocumented "tricks" to help a patient out. Besides, they are free to the implanted patients.

Mine makes a lot of noise, like a damn duck quacking. But the firmness hasn't changed, only gets hard at the end as it should.

Thanks Chiefy. I'm starting to think there's a kink in a line because when i pull down on it it seems to pump easier. Guess time will tell. I heard the "touch" pump may be more durable as long as it's primed daily
