Indian Silicon Malleable Implant

Postby principles » Mon May 18, 2020 7:50 am

Has anybody heard about these silicon malleables? In contrast to the american malleables, which are all composed of mostly metal inside.

I've found the video below on youtube and I'm intrigued about its properties like axial rigidity for instance. Also believe that an extrusion of the implant would be less likely due to the material.

I've read a lot about these implants since I was really intrigued by them.

You'll find pictures and videos here: https://drvijayantgovinda.com/2020/01/07/amazing-3000-usd-penile-prosthesis-the-indian-semi-rigid-malleable-penile-implant/

That surgeon likes to use the "no hinge" version, which means that the silicone implants have the same rigidity from the proximal to the distal part. There are also "hinged" silicone implants, which are more flexible near the pubic region, so the penis can be bent for concealability.

Well, I love Boston Scientific and I'll stick with them.
