Wow, the difference between your experience and mine are like night and day. Sorry that you are having so much discomfort. I am on day 12 and although my very conservative doctor states in his instructions that he will deflate and inflate for first time when I see him at six weeks, I have to confess that I have been inflating and deflating since day six. He left it at about 50% which was pretty easy to manage from a pain standpoint and also easy to hide with long shirts. Our first appointment was supposed to be at 4 weeks, but due to the backlog from Covid-19 he said he was behind. Many people report being able to resume sex after only three weeks after surgery with the infrapubic approach (Was your surgery through the scrotum? Would explain some differences) and I can tell you that right now my only concern in that regard is the healing process of the incision area as relating to thrusting, etc. Otherwise I would be ready now. I can fully inflate and deflate with virtually no discomfort. Regardless, the fact is that you will get there. One day very soon you will be where I am today. It may not be day 12, but it may be day 20. And it will be here before you know it. Hang in there!

I’m on day 10 now and do feel a little better each day. I can feel around the pump and can locate the deflate valve, but still too timid to try on my own.
I can tell you this - one of the hardest parts right now is lying next to my beautiful girlfriend with a sore hard Penis and not be able to do anything lol. I’m so lucky, she is very understanding.
Doc says he usually clears his patients for sex after 4 weeks. I’m hoping if I keep improving it will be less than that.
I know I’m going to be extremely happy and satisfied when I’m all healed up. After years and years struggling with this, a few weeks of soreness will be all well worth it. This community is awesome by the way.

Still sore? It is frustrating that you have a partner and a semi hard dick and can't do anything about it. Think it was about the 6th week before I had sex, had to take a hot bath after to ease soreness and then could not get deflated. Two days later to doc so he could deflate me.
Now at 7+ months out things are great. Getting used to the equipment in my body, no more soreness/pain, and I can inflate and deflate without problems. But it was a long tough road to here for me.

Yeah. I guess early recovery varies a lot depending on the surgical approach used.

Day 11 update:
The only pain I have is the soreness at the pump against both testicles. Still have trouble walking or standing for long periods. Someone please tell me that this will go away. It’s hard to imagine how I will ever get used to having an extra nut down there.

I believe when I went to the follow up the doc was able to deflate some. Now I’m not as erect as I was. Still hard but pointing straight ahead instead upwards like I was before... but maybe that’s just the swelling going down. My Penis looks completely normal now.

I have another follow up July 2.

Then my birthday is July 3 and my girlfriend has rented a cabin in the mountains for us for that weekend. Which is next weekend.

Don’t know what shape or condition I’ll be in by then. I hope I can enjoy myself and herself to some degree. Good news is there is a large hot tub there and I’m looking forward to that.

Hopefully you won't get what I experienced for the first few months. I called it "KITN" (sounds like "kitten"). Stands for "Kicked In The Nuts". I have a hens-egg sized left testicle and the doctor put my pump on the same side so the two frequently fought for months. Now not so much but occasionally when I get an itch in that area (tubing and corporotomies still have chronic itch), I will put pressure in the wrong place while scratching and I get the "KITN" feeling all over again.

More than one way to get off, so bring some toys, just in case!
Pretty sure that you will try to have sex, and that is all well and good, but IF things don't work out, do not dwell on it. Believe me, you will more than make up for it in the future

My girlfriend is a 10/10 in my opinion and unbelievably understanding. I am incredibly lucky.

Yes, you are! Do not force yourself to perform (shit, this sounds like the usual performance anxiety spiel).
1 step forward, then 2 steps back...its not worth it. I know it is special, but it will be even more special when you are healed to the point of enjoying intimacy and not paying for it through setbacks.

We stayed in a hot tub room about 2 1/2 weeks after my implant for our anniversary. That's usually one of the days I can count on sex with the wife other than my birthday. The hot tub felt good, but there wasn't any sex happening. I was still inflated from surgery too, about 50%.
