One cylinder longer then the other

Postby Magicmike » Tue Jul 14, 2020 6:41 pm

Its been almost 6 months since my surgery. My cylinders have soften up a lot. If the last few weeks I noticed a bulge on the right side of my penis. It seems like my right cylinder is about 1cm to long. Is there a fix for this are do I have to get a revision

Can you try to manually stretch on your penis after you've pumped it partially? Maybe there is just a kink you need to try to work out inside where the implant maybe hasn't unfolded all the way.

I have a good size lump in my scrotum… Basically, it’s golf ball size… The two cylinders fold up when I inflate and leave it so a good portion of the implant isn’t able to reach the distal point of my penis… is yours like this or is it just present in a straight implant? I can tell you a bump like mine is in need of a revision…. A different kind of bump may not be but, your best bet is always to get a doctor to check this out if you are concerned…

My doctor told me that I had a lot of plaque on the right side. After surgery I had no bump but 6 months later I do have one one the right side. Like 1cm

MagicMike, it sounds like the cylinders are the same size but the extra plaque in the right side couldn't entirely be cleaned out so the cylinder is basically sitting against the fibrosis in the end. It also probably means that the tubing on that side exits a little more distally than the left side.

I have heard of surgeons when encountering this on rare occasions, that would actually either use two different sizes of cylinders or one set of cylinders sized to fit the shorter side, then use different sized RTEs on the back end to compensate for the different crus depths.

Your surgeon was Dr Eid, right? I would check with him first about what your options are.

I know he can fit different length cylinders on each side, I was fitted with 20/21cm during initial surgery, not sure why but he felt it was necessary. If you search posts by member "Xomanow", also a patient of Dr Eid, he has a great description of his revision to change length of one cylinder.
