I think that you are correct. It seems like each surgeon has his own process he wants you to follow. I think one of the bigger things they try to avoid is getting the reservoir encased by scar tissue. If that happens then it is difficult to fully deflate your implant. I suggest that when the time comes. Get good instructions from your sugeon. If you get curious, I think it would be proper to ask why he recommends certain things.
