Titan Dog Ears

Postby October26 » Sun Nov 01, 2020 12:21 am

I would like to discuss dog ear folds in the Coloplast Titan. At Day five and with the swelling down, I am seeing and feeling the dog ears folds and also seeing some resultant bruising. Any advice on managing them? I am thrilled with the Titan size but woul appreciate everyoneA’s thoughts on them!

Plenty on here about the perceived problem ...do a search.
Bit of a non issue with some softening over time. I often keep a few pumps in that all but eliminates the issue but that means a pretty solid flaccid.....I think it’s cool, others may disagree :)

Merrix writes with authority on this and many other aspects of the Titan under his thread ‘My Journal‘

At night , add pumps - keep it UP for an hour or two - it will help to get the kinks out

During the day , I normally push 3 or 4 pumps into it - buckles disappear now.
They will eventually go away if you cycle and keep pointed up with pumps in at night

I’m 4 surgeries into the implant world -
Initially broke it in 2016

Best of luck !!
