Pain and Swelling?You bet!

Postby gjmjoe017 » Sun Nov 15, 2020 1:27 am

So my procedure was Friday at 12:15.Infra Pubic,Titan 22cm 2RTE.Lots of swelling and mild to aggressive pain.Pain Med keeps it manageable.Going to take drain out and dressings off in the morning.Typical giant Cone shaped dressing so really can’t get ice where I need it and think when I can it will make a huge difference.Really black and blue, but that’s what dilators and fingers clearing the way for things can do.Overall I’m fine,be sure and keep up with the pain curve and don’t get behind! Thanks for all the support in my first post guys,it does help, along with a sweet wife!

Congrats. Try to find a way to ice. It is really important for the early days. I used bags of dried beans as they do not clump or melt. I kept several bags in the freezer and would alternate them. This is the difficult part of waiting and staying in bed as much as possible. Follow your doctors orders. Good luck and good times in the near furture.

Yea the first couple of weeks were the worst for me. Once you get the OK from your surgeon to take baths a hot one really helped me in the following weeks.

The pain will reduce with time. I'm 5 weeks out and now have no pain. Good luck.
Glad to be alive at 65 and living in OZ. RP 2015 and consequential severe ED. Tried meds (side effects!), injections 2 years (now effectiveness and injection problems) , VED (disastrous). Implanted with Titan One Touch on 12th October 2020.
