3rd revision done

Postby Ruktitan » Wed Dec 16, 2020 2:16 am

3rd and hopefully final revision done for a while!

Despite what was always said after every single surgery that there was no more room for cylinders to get rid of the floppy head. Dr Ralph managed to put another 2cm in. So from first implant 20cm titan, to 22cm to now a 24cm titan. 4cm that was missing upon first implant and they denied it was a problem. They also turned the pump so it is now hidden behind the testicle instead of poking out.

I'm 2 days out from surgery and feel really good. Hardly any pain. Just scrotum swelling.
29 years old. Suffered with ED since 17. No known cause. First Implanted date 23/3/2018. Cylinders way too short and revised by different surgeon 2019. 22cm titan.
Cylinders still short and now pump is upside down and protruding. Awaiting 3rd revision

This is insane! But thank god you got it sorted.

Fair play for sticking at them. In my opinion would should still complain - why did you have to put your body through that? Those previous surgeons will not have any blow back and will continue to screw up this procedure.

Can you tell me your pre op size? I am keen to know what size requires a 24cm implant.

1 week out and swelling almost all gone. Notice Ralph did a vertical incision. The previous two surgeons did horizontal which felt much worse. I think good if you have excessive scrotum skin but if not it bunches it up too much. The red circle shows the new pump location. Not even visible from most angles. I won't have to be scared of anyone noticing this.

Too early to pump up and see the cylinder tips but I'm hoping they reach. If I stretched the penis I feel like another 1cm could have been in there but could not be worth the risk of erosion. Time will tell how this feels. If the floppy head is gone I would be happy.

And yes it seems they dont even look or check it afterwards. Which is madness since it was a revision for a bad implant. You would think they would be trying to do a good job now. I am now on my 3rd nhs surgeon.

Yes I have had sex with it and it is possible. However one instantly noticed it and I just said I had an injury when I was young and had to have a testicular implant. And it was fine after that. And the other said that my balls felt so hard when we were having sex and she hadnt even touched it with her hand. The penis still falls out and bends painfully if I go too far. My natural erection never had that problem before.

May I ask,who did your 2nd operation? I know which surgeon did your original implant, because the same person did my 1st one.
I never felt confident enough to go back,so ended up having my revision carried out closer to home. I wish you all the best with your new one.
ED since 2010/RP 2016, tried all pills, injections and VED.nothing worked.Implanted 2018, implant removed short while after.
