I debated over two years if I should have an implant, seemed scary and I was afraid to loose lenght and girth. Well finally, this las Nov 10 had it done. I had done by Dr. Chang at MD Anderson, reason I went with him is he was referred by my primary urologist and was informed that he had quite a bit of experience. The problem is that I barely spoke with him since he was always in a hurry and didn’t give a chance to ask questions. I have a feeling that my surgery was done by one of his interns which that’s not what wanted. Overall I’m fairly satisfied with the outcome. My tool was 7” before and after I lost an inch. I will be going for a follow up and will ask who did the surgery. Dr. Chang or one of his interns. I was disappointed that he didn’t have much interest on hearing me about my concerns. Anyway, is now too late. Have to do the best with it. I was concerned with the price over 54k although insurances paid for it. Not really sure what to expect in the future. I will try to make use of it as much as possible. My wife doesn’t really care for me walking with a bulge showing when wearing jeans. Would appreciate any hints on how I can make a little longer. Heard that if inflate it daily I will gain some size in a year. Anyway, I’m hoping for the best.

Going into surgery i was 7” L and 5.5” G. Now with the implant 3 weeks out i am 5” L 4.5” G. There are other issues such as misaligned cylinders and a floppy head as well. How can i maintain size until revision? Can I continue to use a VED, or should i wait until im further out from my surgery?

I also had surgery on 10 Nov, my size was just over 7” and girth 5.5. I’m now only 6” long although didn’t loose any girth. I heard that if you inflate every day for an hour you’ll regain some of your length. Went for a follow up on 16 Dec and was deflated by my urologist. I have cycled every day since then and really don’t see any difference. I inflate to the point that it hurts, trying to stretch skin as much as possible. Not sure I would want to go for a revision, don’t want to go through all the pain again. Don’t think it would be safe using a penile pump, you would to ask your surgeon about it. On the positive side I’m able to go forever and my wife doesn’t mind the loss of length.

. It will stretch out with cycling. I didn't loose any at all. When cycleing you do want to pump till it hurts and hold it there as long as you can. Be patient. My doc said it could take up to 2 years to regain full size. I am still stretching because at 18 months I still have pain if I pump to max. I have a 700 lgx

These are all questions you should be talking ro your surgeon about. schedule appointment and sit down and talk through your issues. He might be able to remove some of your concerns, and provide answers out solutions ro others.

Anyway to answer your question not much other than cycle as your doctor directs. You need to heal and prevent infection and you surely do not need that on top of everything else. After you are healed you can do long inflations up to an hour and add pumps every 5 minutes or so. Did you have infra pubic or pena sctotal incision? VED can be used post op. But if you had pena sctrotal you need to wait longer until you are healed. And you need to keep the vacuum low. under 5hg. Just a few gentle stretches when you cycle. Infra pubic can be sooner but cover the incision if not fully healed.

Cycling will soften the cylinders and help them expand more. Ved us will also and draw blood in and help keep your tissue more elastic. With floppy glans and miss aligned cylinders there may be a way to get a surgery before the normal 6 months. That is if you heal well and don't have any other trouble. Really like to hear what your doctor said.

I think this is much of a clincher.

He wants a Cock that is working and accepts a little shortening from pre-op size. But 2 inch is a lot, so he has a working Cock, but much shorter and i understand when going to all the hassle and impact he is not glad, although it's working.

@CG, did you have pd prior to implant?
Also, i would have be scared like you. But almost all posts i readed from guys who lost much length in the beginning had regained much length back over time. You are Just 3 weeks out, you probably will regain length, but i understand your concerns for the moment.

I would just say to have some patience. You are just 3 weeks out.

You did not say if you are pumped up still any from surgery.. How long are your cylinders. It is not unusual to have them sit lower in the glans until you pump up for an erection.

If you get cleared to cycle and you pump up fully and your tips are still not up in the glans then you might have some cause to worry. Even then after cycling and softening of cylinders you should gain some length.

Not sure about misalignment. How are they misaligned.if one tube is shorter than the other. That happens sometimes if measurements are different and they just cannot size up that cylinder.

I would cycle aggressively when you can a couple times a day. I cycled morning and evening for an hour each for about 8 months after my first implant. If after about 6 months of cycling hard and your tips are still not in the glans then you probably do have an issue.
