I’m 5 weeks 2 days post op and just got the go ahead to start cycling yesterday. I’m still experiencing penile pain 1/3 the length from the penis tip. The doctor stated penile pain should dissipate 6 to 8 weeks post op.

Are you still experiencing any penile pain? Also, did you have any pain when you began cycling?

I had tremendous stinging and discomfort when I began cycling. I was to inflate for 15 minutes and I watched the clock waiting for the time to pass so I could deflate it. It got way better in about 2 weeks. Which is when I decided I was comfortable enough for sex.
There are still times I am uncomfortable both flaccid and hard, and I take some ibuprofen. I will even take it proactively before sex, because there is some stinging/discomfort. If I were you I would take something before your daily cycling to help with discomfort. One of the things I noticed is that you may have to adjust your sexual positions. The angle and ability to flex change that makes some positions more uncomfortable then others. Take it slow and see what works for wife and you. Also can trial different degrees of hardness to see what works best. I usually go for full pumped up, so it makes sex also an additional max cycle to stretch my penis.
