NY

Relax... Best decision I've ever made for myself. My wife enjoys it as well but not nearly as much as I do. It gives me something to hold during the day and as I go to sleep at night... It hasn't failed me yet!

Best wishes for your surgery.

Im sure these are natural nerves, but shit..what am I doing? I'm only 33. I feel like crying thinking about how this has become my situation. I can get hard, just can't stay hard.

Has anyone ever gotten an implant removed and went back to nothing? What did it feel like? How do I shake these nerves?

I went through the same emotions and nerves, sometimes excitement, sometimes fear. I remember laying on the hospital bed a few hours after waking up almost in tears because I was wondering what I had done to myself.
The recovery can be hard, you need to mentally prepare for that. However after as little as a few days you may find you feel hope and a level of optimism for the future you never thought possible - even before you have used it.

To quote a Coldplay song, sometimes the hardest part is letting go, not taking part. As crippling as ED can be, it’s funny how finally breaking free from it can feel harder to do than living with it.

Good luck!

Thank you guys for the responses and the private messages. I am currently checked in with Dr. Eid at the hospital awaiting next steps. Feeling all sorts of nausea and nerves. Procedure is in two hours.

Love my implant! Best thing I ever did for myself. I went from 1 inch flaccid to 4 inches, really love that, and 5 1/2" erect, same as I always have had, and can have it erect whenever I want for as long as I want. What's not to like? Go for it, you won't be sorry.

Well you're probably under the knife as I write this. Hope it all went fine.
Yes I was a nervous wreck for a few days prior to my implant. It was the first surgery in my life as well at 68 years old. Really wish I had the implant before sticking needles in my dick though. Trimix injections hurt.

I also believe the OP is doing the right thing. A dick that won't stay hard is not a dick you can use.
It's a bitch to have to do this at a young age, but it's great that he has this option.

Old Guy, I never thought about it, but I had never had surgery other than tonsils when a kid and cataract surgery awhile back. I don't count the basal sell skin cancer.

I have to admit that I liked the tri-mix results though. My wife wishes I'd skipped the pills and injections though. She told me she doesn't want me to ever get a replacement, but I'm my own boss (at times).
