Younger spouses and satisfaction rates.

Postby Glove23 » Mon Mar 29, 2021 6:06 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm sure that this has been covered, and know there is a "young guys" page (that doesn't seem to get much attention). Anyhow, recently married and been on the path to implant for some years now. Pills starting to fail, injections (maybe), but man, scared a cpuple good years with those will fuck me over for the next 35.

I don't want to exclude the older guys here as your opinions are awesome and valued, but I would love to hear some opinions from guys, lets say, under 45 or 50. My wife is awesome, but pretty in the dark about this option. I would never try to hide this from her and want nothing more than to just leave this whole thing in the dust and get my life back.

Has anyone started a marriage with an implant? I am 34, recently married but have been together for 12 years. We want a family. Am I totally screwed?

I know fertility is independent of an implant, but TBH I am petrified of a crazy noticeable difference in sexual experience, and just that feeling of, this isn't even close to before. I can deal with the pumping stuff, am petrified about my glans not engorging, and don't want to feel bad everytime we try and have sex. I know a lot of this is an emotional component, but I would love to talk to someone in my similar situation. I basically want to go back to living and stop googling how to get my dick hard.

Revisions=scary, but where Im at now isnt much of a life. Im treading water. Im not only worried about losing my wife, im worried about a 50 year mistake that makes me incapable of loving and being what a man should be.

Is there anyone out there with some good experiences in an early marriage? I Dont plan on ever being single again.

I do not have an implant but I am in a similar situation to yours and I think that if your sexuality sucks and definitely affects the other things in your life, you are on the right track to implant.

(This is advice I have given before - to single men and married men, so is not strictly targeted to your particular situation, but applies, I am sure to much of it.)

I have found that women are incredibly supportive if they feel desired, trusted, respected and safe.  If you make your wife feel those things, you have no worries, whether or not your glans gets engorged or even if your shaft does not get stiff.

During decades of declining penile performance i found that fingers, toys and developing tongue talents helped quite a bit to keep a woman satisfied and not inclined to leave.

The canard about men being unwilling to ask for directions or help or to read assembly instructions gives voice to an objection women have about men who will not admit to shortcomings in bed. A man WILLING to acknowledge shortcomings and to DO SOMETHING about them is highly prized by a woman mature enough to be worth having a real relationship with.

Don't waste a day of a potential relationship just because sex may be problematic.

Life is too short to miss the joys of sex and too long to endure its absence. For you AND for her.

Whether we like the bad situation that we are in or not. There isn't many paths that lead us out of it. I strongly suspect that your wife will be more supportive of your path of choice than you might think. Talk to her.

Thanks for the responses guys. Im kind of referring to what I'll call the Bionic effect. Im noy worried she will leave. Im worried that this new dick will be a world of difference, in a more negative way. Im sure we'll adjust. Not only a sexual hesitation either. Can I remain active and not worry about busting a valve if I wanna take a bike ride or swim in a pool? Revisions, oddly, don't worry me. But the stories of 3 or so in a 2 year span; different story. Sorry for the negativity. Life is beautiful and the less I have to think about not getting it up, the better it will be. This just seems like a really tough way to start my mid thirties. I know this is the last and best option. Im sure Im not alone.

Hey buddy, im 44 years old, had my implant put in October 2020. I had stress induced ED since i was 17, Viagra and Cialis only worked 25% of the time and there was no chance in hell that i was going to stick a needle in my dick. The post surgery wasnt fun, the catheter sucked! I was supposed to wait 6 weeks before i pumped it up but i pumped it up at 3 weeks once i was able to clearly feel the pump and deflate button. So far the only complaint i have is that i was 6" erect prior to the surgery which went down to 5 3/4" until i started cycling it daily, now im up to 6 1/4-6 1/2" inflated but my girth has yet to come back which will in time. Yes, when im pumped up and erect my head leans a little of center and a little bit floppy but if im horny and engorged it looks perfectly normal and if im not horny and engorged i just put on a cock ring and im ready to go! Its been a learning experience but a great experience, now even if im not in the mood and my gf is i can just pump it up and she can play with it until im in the mood. The pump in there which is a bit of an odd feeling but im getting use to it. Other than that its great and if my gf didnt know about it she wouldnt have known the difference function wise. Suck it up and get it done, its worth the hassle!

If your glans fills with blood now, it will fill after the implant. Most Guys with prostate surgery are the ones with nerve damage and glans filling problems.

Even though this is often repeated, I'm not sure its true. It hasn't been for me. Before my surgery I was told by more than I surgeon that I shouldn't expect my glans to engorge.

I accepted this worst case scenario primarily because of the statistics showing a high satisfaction rate by men who have had implants.

My glans does not engorge but I have not regrets about getting my implant.

What say others?
