What did you tell family/friends you were going into surgery for when you were being implanted?

My sibs? No But as the surgery time was getting close I was pretty much stuck in the car with my son in law to whom I was staying with and who was going to be providing transportation. I'm not smart enough to be a liar so when he inquired about what the surgery was all about I tactfully told him I was getting my manhood restored. After that he told me that his dad might have the same thing done because he was acting pretty cheeky like me and would only say it was "private".

I'll throw out the idea that maybe not all people need/deserve a straight answer. To those that you feel might benefit from the knowledge, tell them a short version of the truth. If they desire more info then it is up to them to tactfully open up a discussion in order to learn more.
On the other hand. If its someone that you don't envision needing/using first hand knowledge. Make up a quick reply that sets them back in their snooping. Something like "I'm getting a penis enlargement" might be the best reply to an overly snoopy person.
I guess that there might not be a one size fits all situations story.
At my house, my wife has already decided that nobody will know. I'm ok with that or even giving more info to our kids. Barring complications, I don't see any reason why we can't keep it to ourselves.

Mine was a double hernia repair due to previous repairs failing from my youth. Only 3 people know about the implant: my amazing wife, my doctors and I. Nice and tidy this way. It also explains why the prolong recovery.

Repair of a hernia on the groin area. If some family member was to ask. In my situation my wife is the only one that knows.
But in the last twenty years a couple of my friends were having problems with prostrate cancer and suffered from ED and were really taking it hard that their sex was over. So I told them what to do and that I have had it for many years and it works like the real deal. They appreciated the advice and were going to have it done.
