Jonarr, it'd probably for this advice, but you should have been using a VED to get your lifelong size after surgery.
Also, I don't like it when guys expect to lose even 1/2" after surgery.
I hope your surgeon does a proper job of measuring you before just putting in a good enough implant.
Good luck today.

Hope you’re recovering well Azz and not feeling too anxious. Whatever discomfort you’re going through will be worth it 100 times over as your life will be transformed. When you feel well enough I’d be interested to know who your consultant was, so far I just keep hearing about Ralph in the UK but I’m sure there must be lots of others who are perfectly competent

Congrats on going through with the surgery. If you are like me, you will wonder why it took so long to make the decision. I wish you a relatively pain free and speedy recovery. I am six months since my surgery and remain convinced it was one of the best things that I have ever done!

I said to myself should I be excited or scared? They all told me the pain and discomfort was worth it at the end and it is! The first three months were the hardest other than the week after surgery. Make ice packs your friend!
