New Titan Implant- issues with deflating - Tips?

Hello,

First, thanks to those that run the board. Reading through the forums has been a great help in my journey.

Summary:
52 yr old, diagnosed with severe Peyronies in 2019 ( almost 90 up bend). Surgery to remove the scar tissue in April 2020 was semi successfull.
The graft didnt take 100%, which created an hourglass at the base, but it did correct the upward bend. Other side effect was developed a veinous leak, that even drugs did not help in keeping me hard.
Underwent Titan implant surgery 3 weeks ago, and my surgeon used the minimal invasive approach. Pain and discomfort was a bit more than expected, but the bruising, swelling and scar healing has been progressing well.

The issue that I have is the dang release valve on the pump. My doctor is asking me to start cycling, and I can pump up, but finding just the right angle on the button has been a nightmare. The button seems to be facing inward in my scrotum, and I cant seem to get it to deflate on my own ( or even with my wife's help ). The doctor can deflate in the office, but on my own I am basically walking around with a semi-boner that wont go down.

For those with the Titan implant, any suggestions or tips on the deflation of this device?
The pump itself seems to be hanging down ok, its just getting the angle on the button seems like I need three sets of hands..

Had the same problem.As I healed up it got easier and eventually no problem at all.I found that once I could find that raised button and hold down on it while squeezing my penis it deflated really well.Be patient because it took several months for mine to heal and get easier to deflate.I have a great Rep who has also been very helpful!

I had that problem too though not as bad as yours sounds. The problem is that you have lots of swelling around that area and your pump doesn't have much room to move. Once the swelling goes down it will be a lot easier to rotate your pump and get a good grip of it. You could go in a warm bath or put a heat pack in the area to loosen things up a bit prior to deflating.

Your scrotum will continue to heal and as it does, the tissue inside will thin and it will become easier to handle the pump. Every week there will be improvement.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It truly helps to know how others have dealt with the recover process.

My implant was on 9/15 and my dr appt is on 10/28. I have 60% inflation, I was told not to deflate until first visit. I have Titan too.

Did your stitches get dissolved? Its a pain to have erect penis all the time. I cant even wear an underwear. Work from home so I can manage with robe

Pretty much, the scar has healed up nicely. Most of the stitches have dissolved. Being able to get into the bath 3-4 times a day has been a big help.
Still havent been able to get it pumped down fully. I have another follow up tomorrow ( 3 week appt) , and hopefully will be able to get it figured out.

Which hand are you using to press the release valve?

I struggled to press the valve with my right hand while I squeezed my dick with my left. When I switched hands, I had a much easier time.

Are you comfortable deflating and inflating.

Are you comfortable deflating and inflating. I am four weeks since implant and my doctor said to go ahead and start cycling. I find it very difficult to deflate, not tried inflate yet. I am 60% inflated for past four weeks and its annoying.

Not yet comfortable. The inflate is a bit painful, but I think that will improve over time.
still cant deflate. We did cycle through in my follow up visit yesterday, but I am still~ 60-70% inflated, and it is really starting to bother me. My scrotum still seems "full" and it is difficult to rotate the pump into a position that the button is easier to get to. In my efforts , I think that I actually created some iritation which now needs to heal.

Overall though, my doctor is pleased with the healing progress, and he did give me the green light for sex. But I am hesitant especially if cant get it pumped down.

Hopefully more time will improve the situation, but currently starting to regret going through with the procedure

I couldn't do anything at 3 weeks, way too sore, everything in sac was too thick. Dr. Inflated twice on left at 5 weeks which wasnt that bad. I had to go to the rt side it didn't bother as much and i move the whole pump to the rt (mine points to left normally) at which i hold tubes at top of pump gathering up the sac tissue as im push it tighter to the bottom which thins it and try to hold there to either inflate or deflate. hang on too bulb as tight as you can with index and thumb and squeeze. I can also hold button down better. Once in awhile i slip off ( oww) but it sub sides quickly. I have found that to keep the skin on sac tight if you can take it yet.
