Do you ache after a good cycle?

Postby Jack1104 » Thu Oct 21, 2021 9:04 am

Post op day 34, 20cm Titan.

So after a hard cycle in which I pump to the max I still get a dull ache along my entire shaft that lasts at least several hours. I figured this is probably normal and par for the course. It certainly is better than it was two weeks ago.

My question to you is, how long do you ache after a 100% inflation?

Jack, I think your experience is totally normal.

Once healed up totally I never had a shaft ache from being pumped up 100%. But lengthwise ache after about 60-90 minutes of remaining fully inflated is still apparent. If I pump up 100% before going to sleep, it is enough to wake me up (and deflate). This, almost 4 years post-op. Pumping up 90%-95% gives me no discomfort.

I cycle almost daily (nightly, usually) to make sure that if there is any size increase available, I will take advantage of it and also to maintain tissue elasticity. But stay uninflated most of the time to make sure the reservoir is unrestricted in its ability to fill and to make sure penile tissues do not suffer from being compressed overmuch.

Thanks for the replies!

Lost Sheep, pumping to the max will ache after a little while but it is AFTER I deflate, become flaccid, I feel the ache for a few hours, sometimes even the entire day.

I just figure it is so early in my rehab and this is the tissues getting stretched and expanding towards their eventual final destination…

Jack, I think I was right where you are at a month out.

I'm now 2 months out, can max out and bear it for 40 minutes max. The ache after is just slight now, sometimes non existing.

The other fun things about this process are (hopefully) you will experience gains all of a sudden. Like at 6 weeks all of a sudden I had increased sensation, 8 weeks a little more girth, etc.

Aching after deflation following a period of maximum inflation is not unusual. I don't usually have any ache after 15-30 minutes. Hours seems excessive, but not really alarming, especially since your implant was recent and your implant is a Titan (larger diameter than the AMS devices and is probably stretching your Tunica diameter-wise). Hang in there.
