I went to the doctor for my post op yesterday and had him pump it up for yhe first time. It was a about 65 to 70% and he said it was rigid enough for intercourse. I was expecting Rock hard. When I pump it up myself, it seems to get the same or a little less. Its very difficult for me to tell if im over pumping. I pump about 30 times and still donr be fully errect. Any advice here on this issue? How do I resolve this. Im not a happy camper right now

That is not the best way. You can get more pressure by squeezing between the first thumb joint and the second joint of your index finger, as shown in the video. Stabilize the pump by holding the tubing near the valve block. You can get a lot more pressure that way. Pump until the pump bulb is hard. You can not over pump. Right now your scrotum is sore and pain may limit how hard you can press. Also as the pump wears in it gets softer and easier to pump.

Good advice from Oldbeek, my lgx is not 100% day to day cycling somedays I get 25 wall to wall pumps some days I get 30 good pumps, regardless you just wait then add a slow mean pump or two as you cycle. I hard up for an hour so there is plenty of time to press more, Im at 4th month now and 6” am shooting for another ther quarter inch just to be greedy. Djr you have time relax a bit heal I was like you, Doc said it would all come back and he was right.

My first inflation at the doctor's appointment was so painful. I immediately deflated. Gradually, I could inflate to more stiffness and higher angle. Maybe at around 45 days of cycling I could reach 3pm.
For the first time (or even weeks), it is pretty normal to not have a full erection, but worries me what your doctor is saying (enough for sex). I think you need to ask the doctor about what he means by this. 60-70% inflation is fine at this stage, but no one goes to the operation room to end up with a semi-rigid penis. He/She has to be clear on this: Is it enough for sex for now or this is the max rigidity I can get?

One thing about being 65 is you remember all the old cliches and jokes. “Doc, it hurts when I sit down. Well, don’t sit down.” “If you don’t like the goods at Macy’s, go to Gimbel’s.”

Ergo if it isn’t hard enough at 30 squeezes, do what I did. Go to 60, then 75, then 80.

I only have a 65 ml reservoir. I started out with a cock 6.8x6 inches. I’ve got most of that back, lost 1/4” length, 1/2” girth. I’ve never pumped it dry. My guess it is simple hydraulics….once the cylinders are filled, a small change in the amount of fluid raises the internal pressure of the cylinder quite a bit. So I don’t get a walk-to-wall squeeze. A small one moves a bit of saline and raises the pressure, which gives me the stretch, which gives me the hardness and angle.

I’m joking but not really. Once I get into the 50-75 small squeeze realm, this implant isnt suitable for intercourse. It’s suitable for carpentry, well drilling, putting someone’s eye out,or jousting. Rigidity isn’t an issue. But the BEST thing I encountered has been the angle. I’ve got a boner that points, if not at my belly button, at least at 1:30 or 2 o’clock. No more horizontal 90 degree right angle erections.

Now, others say the LGX is the least rigid of the three (Titan, CX, LGX) and that may be true. My goal is to use this one so often I wear the son of a bitch out and can try a 26 cm Titan (seems like each revision guys end up adding 2 or 3 cm). But this LGX is way more rigid than anything I ever had and if a Titan is harder, then it really will be like being “the man of steel.”

In addition….you’re awfully early in recovery. I found that comfort, size, ease of use, and it “becoming a natural part of me” really took off between 6 and 12 months. At 3 months yes, I had an implant, yes I can have sex with it, no it doesn’t hurt. I’m getting close to two years, not quite. It’s tougher to remember a tiny flaccid (I was a grower), frustrating sex due to a 50% erection and never getting enough stimulation to cum, etc etc.

Give it time. Also give it a lot of pumps. It can and will get really rigid, or at least mine does. My urologist/surgeon said I would like the LGX. He wasn’t lying.

You're early in and it's going to get much better.
I'm at month 4, initially I could only get a few pumps in, now I'm well up there, size has returned. The improvement was most rapid from about 3 months till now, it's an amazing device.
Still have some saline left, but if this is it, then I'm more than happy.

Great advise. Don't be in a hurry. They get much better and feel more natural after 6 months.

Even at 35 pumps its like a half floppy. It doesn't even seem like the buldge in the reservoir even moves an inch. Either im doing something wrong or this isn't a good implant. When the surgeon tried to tell me the other day it was hard enough for penetration, I thought he lost his mind. My penis is thick but now not as long although it doesn't look like I lost much but I want it to get harder to have sex. I was watching a YouTube video on how to pump and they make it seem simple. When I squeeze it I even hear or fill the pop. How should I pump afterwards? Not a happy camper. Single man going to the Dominican Republic this weekend and a half errect penis won't cut it

I started by 70+ pumps, and continued this way for weeks. Because the pumps is too hard in the first weeks, each squeeze releases a small amount of fluid into the cylinders. Inflating while taking a warm shower or bath (I didn't take baths but many members here did) really helps softening the bulb. Just squeeze till you are not able to any longer. By a month or so the number of pumps will decrease and your erection will become more stiff. Don't rush yourself into having perfect sex immediately when you get the green light to cycle. Patience is your friend here.
