I am wondering if constant fear of ED and anxiety in sex times over years gave you an anxiety issue in general? And if you had lots of fear even when with the implant?

ED gave me tremendous anxiety around sex in general with definite obsessive thoughts around my relationship.

Pretty much the same here. My thoughts kept running to "Is my wife going to seek sex elsewhere?" The implant has been wonderful.

I use injections, not an implant, because like you, pills became unreliable and gave bad side effects.
Yes, having a solution that I know will work changes my mentality and my self esteem. I wouldn't have been able to date and find a partner without ED drugs of some sort. Before I had them, I was basically a hermit who didn't see the point of going out and meeting women since I knew I'd disappoint them.
The inconvenience of injections probably limits my confidence a little. If I had an implant that could be used anytime anywhere I'm sure I'd be really feeling myself.

44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

Anxiety and even depression still haunt me despite injections having been pretty reliable.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

I got implanted 1 and a 1/2 months ago and have had sex twice so far. Everything worked great although I think I have some but not a lot of sensitivity issues due to being on oxy for sex pain as well as needing more time to fully heal. But I’m definitely seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm been having anxiety and depression not only because my ED but also because my penis is deformed due to a trauma from Trimix. But also I'm not strong mentally to have an implant. I'm mentally trapped. My ED and deformity are causing me anxiety and depression, but thinking about an implant also depressed me
I had a trauma 2 years ago, caused me narrowing, dent and shortening. PRP injections three months ago=worse narrowing, and worse ED. Now I only have two choices: impotent or implant. Born in 1975, in a relationship with girlfriend fir 4 years

Lost - Are you saying that you still have anxiety even post-implant?
55 yo w 20 yrs of worsening ED. VL on US. Tried all PDE5-Is w decreasing efficacy. No longer tolerating SEs from meds. INJs did not work out well for me. Now sched for IPP w Dr. Eid in 12/2023.
