Day 4.
Had drain removed yesterday. Home health nurse checked dressing~all good. Many new changes today. Had 1st movement today (I was worried about constipation). Took my 1st shower today. Felt great. Wife bought me a jock strap yesterday and it was delivered this morning WOW. Trying to find right comfortable position. Still a lot of swelling and bruising. I go back to work Monday with a 2 hour drive. Appetite is minimal. I can’t wait to get passed this stage!

j4harv-- you live in GA? how I envy you being in the vicinity of a surgeon with the reputation of being one of the world's best implanters -- Dr Hakky in Atlanta!

If you decide to go for it -- be sure to put him on your shopping list -- besides his vast knowledge and advice, his enthusiasm is contagious!
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.

John, congratulations and welcome to the brotherhood.

Try to be patient and take it easy for another week or two. The implant is serious surgery and it is completely normal to feel like crap for the first week. By week two things will start gradually feeling better, and by week three you should be feeling like your old self again. Be patient and follow your doctor's instructions to the letter.

Hang in there it will all be totally worth it ...

Hey John,
We haven't heard from you in a few days. Hope all is going well in your recovery. If you're able, give us an update. I have my implant surgery tomorrow. Excited and nervous as hell.

Day 12 post-op. Last week was pretty rough. 2 hour drive was ok except last 15 minutes. Probably because I had to pee. At hotel, glue was coming off so I had a bath. This was great. Next night, made a cocktail and hot bath. I started feeling around down there and pushed the pump. It worked but I could not find how to deflate. I can’t find the valves. Maybe too much scar tissue right now. Doctor had me at 40-50%. Now I was 60-70%. Spent the rest of the week trying to find a comfortable position. That didn’t happen. At home for the weekend for some R &R.

Dr Mann. Hope your surgery went perfect. Happy healing.
