Post op questions

Its been 26 days since my surgery. I now carry the AMS LGX. Recovery has been almost magical. I am very proud that I got it done in my own country, India. However, I have some questions
1. When I press the deflation button, shd I simultaneously squeeze the penis or do I squeeze it after I release the deflation button?
2. The first squeeze of the pump is the difficult part. I have understood that I shd use the pulp of the thumb but it doesnt always happen fast. Once I hear the poop sound, I know I am on my way. But is is bothersome.
3. About the tube protudng in 1 place, I am attaching a clear pic . Hope to get some inputs how to fix this dark area in an otherwise brilliant outcome.
4. I am still scared of showering with hot water even after 26 days and stil do the sponge.
5. I am not able to deflate entirely and penis is still kind of semi hard. Hope that is ok
6. Ideally how long shd I leave it inflated at this stage?

1) You should be able to squeeze after pushing the deflate button, however, simultaneously is faster
2) The bulb will soften with use
3)Didn't get the pic so I can't comment
4) Take a nice warm shower dude! You should have been okay to shower at week 2. Just be gentle for now
5) Yes that's your new you. You are a 'show-er' now
6) To regain size you should pump to the point of uncomfortable ,and if possible, for 20 minutes. The discomfort will ease with subsequent cycling

I, too, have the LGX. It will be 21 months this week. Some questions never seem to get answered, you just live with the mysteries. Here are my experiences with your questions:

1. I don’t think it matters. I’ve done both. I find I have to hold the button down during entire deflation process. I’m not sure that it’s supposed to be that way, but mine is. I usually allow it to deflate as much as it will until I no longer feel the “buzzing sound” as pressure equalizes between cylinders and reservoir. Then I squeeze.

2. I don’t always feel a “Pop” when I go to inflate. I think it is due to something I did or failed to do during my previous deflation. It doesn’t seem to matter. I can inflate normally whether I feel that initial pop or not.

3. Ask your doctor about tubing. I really don’t know.

4. I would shower or bathe in whatever temperature you are comfortable with. I have taken hot baths and showers with no ill effect. But each guy is different and so are out thought processes. Now that this LGX is part of me I seldom think of it at all except when I want to be erect. You can think of it as part of your body, and subject it to as hot or as cold a water temperature as any other part.

5. I’d ask the doctor but you may be getting totally deflated. The cylinders are stiffer than the spongy tissue they replaced. They don’t shrink the same way, either. After a year or so I think you’ll find they are softer and more flexible than when first installed but the implant will never be as floppy as a penis without an implant.

6. The doctor, again, can give you good advice but if you have healed well, your comfort level will determine how long you stay inflated. It is my understanding that it is usually best not to leave it inflated all of the time, that impedes blood flow and tissue oxygenation in the pubic area. Still, 30 minutes to an hour or so ought not cause any trouble. A decent rule of thumb-if it hurts, you probably need to stop doing it and consult doctor.
