Girth

Postby Howling8 » Sun Mar 27, 2022 5:26 pm

I’m was implanted on 10/28/21. I’ve lost about .5 “min of length and not concerned about that because when I get exited the glans restores it. I am concerned about the girth and shape I’m cycling twice a day using Dr Perito’s method and it works. I’m up to 60 pumps after two bends in each direction and my girth has increased from 5.5 to just shy of my original 6” at the base and from 5.2 to 5.6 higher up the shaft. I can only take about 15 minutes of that as I can feel the stretch and burn. It’s not as oval and flat but it’s not round like my pre-op cock.

Here are my questions my bionic shipmates.

1. What’s the best anyone here has been able to restore their girth?

2. Will it ever start feeling more natural and rounder? My wife wants to know as she thinks it feels artificial when it’s flat and oval and she’s not a fan right now. She’ll work with me on it but it’s tough to keep focused on the loving if you keep wondering if she dislikes it.

3. When will it stop hurting? Do you take pain meds to help while cycling for increases?

4. Can you easily feel the connection tubing? It doubles up and irritates the lumpy scar that the transverse incision

5. Anyone else have a transverse incision that took a long time to heal? Every time after inflation it hurts for a few days afterwards if I take a day or two off from cycling.

I’m really trying to make this work as I realize their is no turning back and buyers remorse is futile. I’m getting fourth opinion from Dr Kidd in Milwaukee on Tuesday. Dr Eid and Dr Clavell did a telemedicine consult with me on Zoom and Dr Eid thought I’ve been mutilated with that transverse incision by Dr Amy Guise at the VA with no sense of aesthetics to the look of a penis. Dr Clavell in Houston agreed but was kinder in his assessment. Both said it was easily fixed by going into my scrotum and placing the connection tubing lower on the cylinders and shortening the length of the tubing so it doesn’t kink up. Dr Guise insists the tubes are in the right place but are too long and that’s what she’ll fix by reopening that transverse scar. She wants to operate on 4/21/22 and I’m scrambling here to get enough information to make a final decision. Would you wait and get another surgeon to fix it? I’m in a conundrum to say the least. Another operation means another worry about infection.
Thanks

In my opinion, its your penis, its deserves the BEST doctor. Nothing less. If the 1st doctor didnt mess up, you wouldnt be in this situation right?

If cost is an issue, reach out to Dr. Hakki, he has a good reputation, especially with revisions.

You have decent girth already. Your wife may just need some time to get used to your new penis. For both your sakes, I hope that she can do that.

After all, your penis has been permanently changed. It will likely never be totally round like a natural penis again. The shape can marginally improve over time--I think mine has--when I'm really engorged, I doubt any woman would notice. But don't expect major improvements.

As for pain, I am still experiencing significant pain at max inflation over one year out of surgery. I think I may be an outlier though. A lot of men seem to be pain free much quicker.

Without seeing a picture, I'm not sure I fully understand your situation, but the tubing in my scrotum/groin is very palpable. This is why I always find it hard to believe when some guys say that women they are with "have no idea" they are implanted. Really? Did you they touch you down there? More likely than not, they noticed and didn't say anything!

I am impressed with how many pumps you can get in. Are these wall-to-wall pumps or partial? I am only up to 39 full pumps and I have a bigger implant.

I would also suggest you consult with Dr. Hakky. He's great.

Thanks, I saw my old Urologist today and he just got back from visiting Dr Perito in Miami. He said he'd wait and see if the pain improves. In the fall or winter see if Medicare will take care of Perito's cost and get him to do a revision. My wife is open to still having sex after she cleared the air and said she'll grow to like...Here's a picture of the tenting it causes and the incision that Dr Eid said was inelegant and my original pre-op old fellow.
