Most of them are international flights within Asia, but dozens are international within Europe or international out of Europe.
The countries I have been flying in to or out from during the close to two years after my implant surgery includes: US, Mexico, Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, India, South Korea, China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, and probably a few more.
Never, ever have I encountered a problem in security because of my implant. What has happened a few times when I forget to perfect the position of my dick before going through, is that the security officer has felt my dick in my pants during the standard pocket search. This happens normally if I wear tight boxers and keep my dick pointing sideways. For some reason, it has been female officers every time, and it is always funny to see her face when she feels a dick reaching way out to the side where a normal flaccid dick won't ever reach...

But again, never ever have I been questioned or exposed to extra search. In two years and >200 flights all over the world.

You must have had a shitty bad luck...
Good luck next time.

Are you a pilot or a flight attendant?

Haha, no I am not. Just a frequent business traveller...
However, I think the post you quoted was quite old, and I'd like to update and say that nowadays I almost always get "caught" in the automatic scanner.
I see on the screen that the area in my abdomen/crotch is highlighted. They take me aside, use their handheld scanner, feel around at my pockets, inside my belt etc, and then let me go. Never been asked any questions, never been forced to tell anyone about the implant.

I have to agree w Merrix, Only been on 2 flights, both I was brought aside for further check both times without issue, Im wondering if the number of clips or metal connections? Used in the implant and subsequent revision could make the difference in scanners noting crouch detection?

Type 1 diabetic and I have a “closed loop system” insulin pump that speaks via bluetooth to my continuous glucose monitor. I generally make sure to arrive early and wave down security, tug my sleeve up to expose my cgm or hold up my insulin pump and request a pat down as my attached medical devices arent scanner friendly. They pull me aside, i wait at most 5 minutes, get patted down, never really groped though and then they manually give my bag a quick in person check and Im on my way. Im always 5 minutes slower through than anyone traveling with me but its pretty painless and I will do the same when flying out of Nashville, through NY and on to India next month. It will be my first international flight since Covid F’d up my normal work travel schedule and my first flight with an implant.

If I can schedule it, Ill get TSA cleared before this trip, but I have a lot going on. Moving locally between now and then too so we will see if theres time.

If anyone asks I will tell them I high sided at about a buck forty while racing my motorcycle in the Bahraine GP back in 2006 and had some reconstructive surgery. They built me back bigger, faster, stronger.. Now Im the bionic man. It just has more wow factor than diabetes slow-broke my dick…

I have Global Entry that includes TSA pre check. Recently left BWI, then connected to another domestic airport for international travel and returned.
Not one single question or issue. Pre check makes your life easier.
