the feel of the implant

Postby tankerman » Fri Mar 08, 2013 2:15 pm

Hey all,,, can some of you tell me a few things about implants?, I would like to know if you can feel the implant or does it feel so natural that you cant notice it
?, and if you are a truck driver would there be a problem with sitting for long periods of time?, is the orgasm the same or better?, will the glans still get hard?, will your girl be able to tell if you have an implant if she is giving you a BJ?, who is better dr krammer or dr eid?, if you wanted to turn your girl over and just pound the heck out of her would there be any problems? ect ect ect ,,, please tell me your exsperiances as it is very important to me as i am thinking seriously about getting an implant,,, thanks to all of you.
I am 48 years old have had ED since I was 16, I can get an erection but I can not maintain it, tried pills I dont like the side effects, tried Trimix it has been hit and miss, I think I should get an implant.

Once healed you will hardly notice the new hardware ...
if you are a truck driver would there be a problem with sitting for long periods of time?

I would recommend an inflatable donut cushion ... this raises your hardware up just enough so it not a bother ...
is the orgasm the same or better?, will the glans still get hard?

If you have no issues now with having a climax ... then it will be the same after ... the glans may not swell up as much as before ... but you will be plenty hard enough for enjoyable sex.
will your girl be able to tell if you have an implant if she is giving you a BJ?

Most likely she will notice ... the tips of the Implant extend into the glans. However the "look & feel" is the same and should not deter from oral ... besides it's tough to hide the fact you have an Implant ... when after you climax, you are still standing tall ...
who is better dr krammer or dr eid?

Both are high-volume Implant surgeons ... either would be fine ...
if you wanted to turn your girl over and just pound the heck out of her would there be any problems?

No ... you shouldn't have any problems (once healed) ... I wouldn't try that approach for the first few months, as the tips of the Implant make the glans rather tender at first.

Well, the other side of the coin. There are a few people that do not do well with an implant. The task and not a small one is to figure out if you will or won't do well. I am one of the ones who has done better than well. Therefore, all my opinions are biased, not wrong just biased.

Dr. David Morris of Nashville/Hendersonville, TN is another good surgeon. Not the known by name type, but excellent and he does quite a few implants. He works out of the Hendersonville Medical Center which is a smaller hospital than Vanderbilt, but every bit as good with a more personal touch.

I agree with Bionic's answers to your questions but would add one thing. I am 5 1/2 months post-op Regarding whether you can feel the implant, the part in the penis I don't notice at all. I can feel it if I squeeze the penis though but I have to work at it to feel it. And overnight it does accumulate a small amount of fluid so in the morning after I shower I press the deflate button and squeeze the penis to deflate totally. That takes about 10 seconds so is not a problem to me.

On the other hand the pump is a bit of a nuisance at times. I sit in front of a computer in a comfortable desk chair for many hours and sort of notice the pump but it is not a big problem. Sometimes when sitting on a hard surface it is a little more of a nuisance and I have to adjust my possition a little so my other body parts don't complain. I sometime use the doughnut cushion, such as when I sit on a hard metal folding chair and that helps. My doughnut cusion is foam rubber. For me the hardware is a similar nuisance to wearing glasses. My old Optometrist told me once that glasses are never as good as what mother nature originally gave you but if you need them, they do the job better than not being able to see well.

You say in your description that you tried the pills but did not like the side effects. I had some nasal congestion whenever I used Viagra, which I did for about 8 years. Then Viagra stopped working at all for me and the other two pills did not work either. After that Trimix worked most of the time for me but after using it for 18 months it stopped working 90% of the time. My doc said that the vac devices expand the penis but do not produce a hard erection so he did not recommend going with those. I never tried them but trust his opinion. So I was down to the choice of not having sex or of getting the implant. The implant has worked well for me, despite some problems initially which seem to have gone away. So I am very happy with the choice I made. On the other hand, if you can have satisfactory sex with some other means, such as the pills, you might be better off staying with those depending on how bad the side affects are for you. It seems that each solution has some drawbacks so only you can weigh the drawbacks and decide which is the best (or least bad) solution for you.
