Day 4 recovery report-
Doing some stretching and massaging as instructed by the doctor. Short shower in the past 2 days. Ice pack 3 times a day, each time for about an hour. Level of pain is tolerable but I felt the painkiller can’t take away the sore feeling especially while sleeping. Areas of pain happened mostly at the base of the penis , incision area and on the left where the tubing is. Not really pain or discomfort on the shaft and the head.
I can feel both cylinders in the shaft especially the dog ear on both sides. Not sure how much % was inflated. The cylinder seemed to be inserted into about 2/3 of the gland based on the feeling when I touched it and the position of the needle shown on the photo.
The pump is low in the middle left of the scrotal. I have been pulling it gently as instructed.
The incision dressing is still intake, will let the nurse to take it off next Tuesday. Was told no cycling till at least 4 weeks after the operation so no way to know the length I have. Now about 12-13cm sort off. My stretching length was 16cm right before the operation.
Read through the Coloplast Titan information pack, there was a little card showing the model and the reference number of the items used on me. So confirmed it was a 20cm cylinder Titan Zero Degree plus 1cm RTE with 125cc reservoir.
To be continued~~

48 years young. ED for 20+ years due to venous leak. Implanted Coloplast Titan Touch. Corporal measured by doctor before operation was 20cm (11.5+8.5). RTE 1cm. Pre operation erection 15cm in length, stretched 16cm. Operation Dr. D. Katz (Australia).
Re: Officially becoming bionic
Day 6 first doctor visit post OP
Everything went well, the nurse removed the dressing and told me the incision is healing well.
The doctor came over to check it out and was surprised the minimum pain I had when he tried to move my penis around.
So next appointment will be the activation day 3 weeks away on 21/6/2022, YAY!
I have also been using the heat pack after 3-4 days on ice pack to accelerate the heal of the incision, works well it seems.

Following your journey! Happy for you!
Is there a reason you went through doctor Katz opposed to other urologist?
How was the support/care before, during and after? As I too am getting an implant and decing if he is right for me.
Thankyou and hope your OK!

Hi @Danhall90,
I will just do an overall summary below. Probably more than what you asked.
Selecting Dr Katz was based on the general research online including FT here. When I was at my early 30s I was referred to another urologist for the ED issue but got the impression that he just wanted me to use sex pills rather than trying to understand what went wrong. Same to few others I went to see in my 20s. I also preferred to deal with the clinic that is focusing on men rather than general urology issues. I am happy with the current progress at this stage, fingers crossed for later too.
The hospital was pretty good (a bit far that’s all). I was sent to another non-urology ward initially and there were some confusions about what to do which frustrated me, but later was transferred to the urology ward after the operation where everyone clearly knew what to do and was very friendly.
Post operation instruction care was clear enough for me. You will get a black folder from the clinic with implant information including the model you have and the surgical note telling you the measurement of the penis. You will go to see the nurse and the doctor 1 week after the operation and they will remove the dressing and check out your healing progress.
At the end of the day, it is very important for you to understand what is the physical issue you have and the final goal you wish to achieve as it is you that is going to make the final call, not really from the doctor. The doctor provides his medical experience/information for you based on his diagnosis and offers you the solutions.
I decided to go for implant because I had fucking enough, I don’t want to spend more money on sex pills, cock rings and still worrying about an unreliable penis when I wish to have some fun and end up turning the person I like away. The final decision was based on that I am only 48 and still have a lot more opportunities to have sex within the next 10 to 15 years, so from the value for money point of view It is a very logical decision to go for implant now.
Let me know if you wish to know more. Best of luck.

Day 11:
The pain is still there on and off, especially when I stand or sit, so I tried to lay down few times a day. Pain killer in the evening only so I can relax more, rather than taking it all the time.
I do take long showers twice a day to hopefully increasing the blood circulation down there. The water retention and swelling around my scrotum is slowly disappearing, despite I like the big scrotum feeling (sorry guys ).
Been doing some penis bending exercises as instructed by the doctor. I did the bending during the shower and after pee mostly.
The incision on the pubic bone area is healing slowly, feeling a bit itchy, a good sign I guess.
Length wise around 12cm, and 11.5cm in girth but I was told I am only about 30% inflated so far so this is just for information.
See the latest pic below.

Hey Klyscott,
Congrats for joining the bionic club, and very good luck with your implant. Everything looks great from the photos, especially the angle!
I wondering about the implant size. Are you sure about these cylinder measurements? I didn't see before someone with 11.5 cylinder + 8.5cm RTE. I believe all cylinders have integer numbers, fractions. AMS has a minimum of 12cm cylinders, not sure about Titan. Also 8.5cm RTE is a big number. You may need to verify this with your surgeon.
