Common denominator is the early weight lifting & his doctor not seeing the potential issue in my opinion. Note to self "be carefull lifting stuff too early".

i m new here as well but read all comments in 1week about penile implant....well i have been searching penile implant from last 1year and after going through all the stuff which i read and saw the videos i m finally going for TACTRA .i dont like failure and lots of wires inside my body.Malleable is more famous in india and they are 99% satisfaction rate.i think in USA v less people have Malleable and are under rated.i live in canada and Malleable are free here and inflatable are 4500 canadian dollar.but i have opted to go Malleable due to less complecation.early recovery and erection like teens

Point well taken. All these posts seem to revolve around the cheaper price. I believe most western men see the malleables as a temporary use for infection recovery or as a prosthesis for hand mobility compromised men. Which seems to be exactly how the manufacturer's market them. These posters also seem to pester members about a malleable without reading the members posted comments. Just like a frequently heard advertisement for a product you don't like.
Oh, and how popular they are in India. I want an implant that mimics my original penis.

Get a Coloplast the third time and don't do any lifting until 2 months or so since you have fully healed. Good luck!

When I got my implant, my doctor gave me strict orders not to lift anything more than five pounds until I went back for my first follow-up appointment, which was two weeks after the surgery.

Then he gave me the okay to resume normal physical activity gradually.

Fast walking on Treadmill at 2 weeks
Light weightlifting at 30 days. No squats or ab exercises.

Just approaching 45 days. Increasing weights and some ab exercises.

Sometimes I will feel something in my abs, the resovoir I think or tubing then I back off immediately or do a different exercise.

Try going slower on the gym.

Delay in weight lifting is to protect the body and not the implant itself. The risk of hernia is increased by the surgery and body needs time to heal. Waiting 6 weeks or any amount of time will not make the implant stronger. I would not think the lifting is cause of failure.
