From what I’ve read, the semi erect look is not really a problem at all with AMS implants and with Titans it isn’t all that significant with bigger penises because the weight and length will naturally cause it to hang down.

I definitely wouldn’t let that concern hold you back from getting an implant because it most likely won’t be as bad as you fear it will be.

Yeah, the general consensus is that with the Titan implants you will likely look a little more erect than with an AMS. If you are well endowed then that is less of an issue.
Most of the time these observations are referring to when you are standing naked though, with clothes on the difference is even less apparent. I am not as big as you but when I am fully deflated its probably at about a 4 o'clock angle. For me personally, the Titan may not have been the best choice if my goal was to have the most natural looking flaccid, but in your case it may be completely different. If I am wearing jeans etc, then in certain positions the bulge probably is a bit bigger than it was previously, but it would by no means seem offensive or unnatural. If I was wearing boxer shorts or something similar without underwear, then yes, it probably would look like I am starting to get a hardon.

I am a fairly modest guy myself, so I totally understand your concern, but the reality is we are not females - there is always going to be some sort of bulge there which is totally normal and expected. With an implant, that bulge will probably be a bit bigger than it is now, but the benefits of the implant will far outweigh those issues.

I have always been a grower before implant and now I’m just a shower. I wear anything I want and no one notices that I can tell. I have told my wife to let me know if there is something she feels shows too much but she says it looks very normal but it just looks a bit bigger. It does NOT look like I’m walking around with a hard-on. I’m slightly above average size and have aTitan. It has loosened up quite a bit in the 4 months since implant. I think it will be fine. Let’s go back to bulge. After prostate removal surgery for cancer, I was ashamed to undress at doctor’s office because I had max 2 inches to show. That was humiliating feeling. Now, with 4.5 inches soft, I am not ashamed anymore to undress for any exam.

Thanx man. You seem to have a lot of experience. Can you tell me what you would do in this situation?
IF you go to the gym 6 weeks post-op with a lot of young boys and girls. You can't by any meanings showing a 'hard on'. How do you dress. Will constriction underwear or a jockstrap hide it?

I respectfully beg to differ. It is quite common for pubescent girls to be embarrassed by their breasts showing, especially among girls who develop at a younger age than theiir peers. Also, many women are troubled when their (oviously nothing can be done about the presence of their breasts) nipples stand up.

Please pardon my responding off-topic, but it is undeniable that anything that calls attention to onesself as different or especially noticeable (much less, objectionable) is a problem for the person (even if it is one only of self-perception).

Men who have been unaccustomed to having a discernable bulge who find themselves WITH one after an implant may be troubled at the added attention. And it does not matter too very much if the attention is imagined or real.

I agree 100%. I like the bulge that I NEVER had before my implant. How much budge can you have with a 1 inch flaccid dick and only one testicle?? That's all changed now. A pump where my undeveloped testicle was and a 4+ inch flaccid penis, love and proud of my bulge!

Wear large dark sweat pants and wide jeans. I was big before the implant and yeah it’s visible in gray sweat pants or light khakis. Stick to dark colors and wear them a big large. I was a former educator and I got special permission from my supervisor to leave my shirt untucked. I think you’re blowing this outta proportion. See the bigger picture, no pun intended. This is well worth it.

Here is how I think about it: the Titan turns you into a “shower” since your flaccid penis is almost the same size as inflated. That said, it hangs down so does not look like an erection. Looks quite natural.

Another thing I just thought of that you could try is compression underwear. I always wear them when I run and I really like them; however, I’ve never worn them throughout the day. Nike has good ones, they just cost about $25 US each, but if that’s the answer it doesn’t matter.

Some of your issues might be resolved by the type of implant you get. I’ve got the AMS LGX. It acts very much like a regular penis. 5 1/4” long flaccid. 6 1/2” +/- pumped, yes, when flaccid you just look like a guy with a good sized dick.

I don’t think the vast majority of us guys who have no problem are exhibitionists or prancing around waving our junk in people’s faces like perverted creeps. There’s a good sized contingent of older guys on here (baby boomers) who grew up in an era when male nudity was not a big deal and modesty was considered a sissified character trait.

Yes, an implant might show a bit more. AMS is probably less “in your face” than a Titan. Neither are obscene. The human body isn’t obscene.

As far as children in the gym…..try going at times when they’re in school or close to their bedtime. Actually a late evening workout is better for old guys since you continue to burn calories at a higher rate overnight. Nobody is suggesting pulling your implant out of your fly and swinging it around. It’s there, it’s now part of your anatomy, some guys without implants have cocks just like that.

It’s only a big deal if you make it a big deal. My wife and I go to the Caribbean quite a bit. I’m 66 with a lean/muscular build. Hell yes I wear a Speedo-type swim trunk. My wife sometimes comments that a particular suit needs a jock strap underneath, and I usually oblige her. But in truth I can’t say she isn’t glad to have a trophy husband.

Mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter. People who see and check out your bulge are the culprit…not you for having a bulge.
