Hi everyone guys.
17 days post-op, 2nd day of cycling.
I cycle twice a day, 10 minutes.
I squeeze the pump till the point of bereable pain, hang in there, add 2-3 pumps on occasion and then deflate.
The point is that i reach a 70-75 inflation, maybe 80 at the maximum. Then i have to give up because of the pain.
Pump to full erection just doesn't seem possible now.
Is this normal in your opinioni guys?
Note that i was left fully deflated for 2 weeks after surgery.
It didn't certainly help.
I don't stand full inflation 2 weeks post-op
Re: I don't stand full inflation 2 weeks post-op
My Doc had me start inflating at day 5. The first full inflation hurt but was never that bad that I couldn't hold it for 30 minutes. Now day sixteen it's a lot better, there is some discomfort when you pump it full, but very little pain. I squeeze the pump until I can't any longer. Don't want to do any damage. I now cycle twice a day for 30 to 40 minutes. I meet with my Doc on Monday to see if it's safe to squeeze the pump when it's hard and full of saline.
65 yrs old. Married 38 years to an awesome wife. Implanted on 8/4/2022 Titan 24cm XL. Dr Hakky. Loving the implant so far.

Activation on day 5 is almost crazy, i was told that even day 15 is considered to be on the early side. Is not a race of couse in case anyone read. Just to tell

I would say for some, yes that’s normal. You’re still healing and it will get better with time.I couldn’t get many pumps in mine for several months. At about 6 months I could get up to 50 pumps and almost 2 years out almost 60!Hang in there and just pump as much as you can and hold it for as long as you can!By the way,I didn’t start cycling Untill the 6th week!

I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice—-simply observations and anecdotal info gleaned from other bionic guys.
Your body is the best judge of how much to pump and how long to go. A little stretching discomfort is good. Severe pain is not.
If you listen to your doctor and your body you aren’t going to hurt yourself, even with some discomfort. One analogy is the weight room. You go to the gym and work out hard for the first time in a long time. Afterwards you hurt like hell and are sore. You’ve actually torn small muscle fibers and when they heal, they’ll be bigger and stronger. No, your dick isn’t a muscle per se but stretching it internally requires growth and stretching and that’s not going to happen without some discomfort.
My doc, and others like him, believed in early cycling. There’s also a school of thought that it’s best to wait a few weeks and cycle after healing. Both groups seem to do well in the long term. If you don’t think your doctor is aggressive enough (or is too aggressive) don’t take the advice of anonymous guys on the internet. Have a conversation with the doctor. On day 3 when the drain came out my doctor was encouraging me to cycle and I was skeptical and told him I could find the bulb in that black and blue swollen nutsack but was pretty sure I couldn’t manage the deflate. He chuckled and told me to come in anytime during office hours, he would deflate me, and to do the best I could….that if I needed to wait a week it wouldn’t cause problems. After a week I was inflating and deflating like I had been bionic for years, and he simply said you’ve healed well, you can have sex with it if you think you’re able.
Listen to body. Listen to doctor. Exercise good judgment + common sense. No, it’s not a race, and no two guys are going to get comfortable with this being part of their anatomy exactly alike. Respect the implant but don’t be afraid of it.

The cycling protocol I have seen do not have pump adding inflations. If that is your doctors instructions then by all means do so. I did not do pump adding inflations until months out. And what I did was to inflate until I could feel stretching and then wait until that went away and would add pumps until the stretching returned. If you did not receive instructions from your doctor to add pumps you might want to hold off on that a while.
Good luck with this.

I perfectly understand what you're telling me and it's reasonable. No doubts.
I was left fully deflated after surgery without explanations and i feel it's slowing down my recovery process.
Then, two days ago, i was told to start cycling twice a day for 1 minute. I don't even call it cycling.
I wasn't given further instructions, tips or more accurate suggestions. Nothing.
Cycle twice a day for one minute. That's it.
I'll see my surgeon on Tuesday to discuss about this conservative approach and on top of everything about the lack of communication and care i've been given post-op.
Post-op care, communication, empathy and methods are all elements making a good surgeon.
It's not only about the volume of surgeries or the carry out procedures.
I'm currently HIGHLY disappointed with both the almost non-existent post-op care i'm receiving and the recovery process that's been all but uneventful mostly because of the aforementioned lack of empathy and medical care.
I'd like to listen to my doctor and i'd need one able to articulate a concept in my presence. If only i had it.

I don't have any specific instructions apart from "Cycle for 1 minute twice a day".
That's it.
I give just 2 or 3 adding squeezes when i feel that the obtained inflation becomes bereable and i can stretch a bit more.
The moment i start feeling too much pain for more than 5 seconds i deflate.
Anyway l'll have a conversation on Tuesday about it with my surgeon and he has to give me a specific protocol to follow. At least further instructions.
