I also suffered ED for a little more than a decade and I lost size. I recommend you use a vacuum to begin stretching you penis. This will help Clavell use the maximum size implant.

Would that be necessary even if i can still get erections at the moment? Im the same size as i always been

Yes it is necessary because your penis needs to stretch out to the max, not just 50-75%.

Sakabato wrote:Long story short, ive been suffering from moderate ED for over a decade now. I took finasteride for 2 years when i was 20-21, and ive never been the same since then.

Libido is probably 10% of what it once was

Erection strenght is good when using viagra/cialis, but to actually get the erection is a struggle 80% of the time, i have to overly stimulate myself in order to have it. The other 20% of the time i do get it up without that much stimulation (possibly on days when im more well rested or simply feeling hornier overall)

Erections however, dont last. Changing positions is a no-no, the 10 seconds it takes for us to switch from missionary to doggy just to give an example, by the time we are in position my penis is already just half hard, which then i have to awkwardly stimulate myself for a while just to get it hard enough again to put it in and worst case scenario i take too much time, i get too much into my own head and simply dont get it up anymore and lose interest.

And since i have to constanstly be stimulated for the erection to stay strong, that means im constantly on the edge, just about to orgasm. So i end up in a catch 22 type of situation where i have to choose between losing my erection or cumming too fast.

Pills worked wonderfully in my mid and late 20s but just rencently viagra for whatever reason doesnt seem to work anymore and Cialis kind of does but nowhere near the effectivenes it had on me just a couple of years ago.

Im fit, workout every day, socially doing well, financial life is great, everything is great except for my ED problem which is eating me up from the inside and has me focused on it 24/7.

You know the usual thoughts, "okay we are going out to dinner today, gonna bring a pill", "We are catching a movie but what if she starts making out with me before the movie? Need to take a pill beforehand", you guys know the feeling im sure, it takes a lot of mental and emotional energy to plan around making love to a beautiful woman, and you know that you are not okay when she gets her period and you feel relieved that you wont have to worry about sex for a few days (even if you fully well know that you wouldnt give a crap about a bit of blood if you had a horny hard dick lol)

I guess it wasnt long story short after all. Im sure you guys are familiar with the anxiety and stress that dealing with this causes you. My question i guess is that, for those of you that have had an implant, do you think it would be a good option for me right now given my moderate ED? Can i have sex? Yes, most of the time. Is it a pleasurable experience? Not for me nor the girls i do it with id say. Am i a happy person regarding my sexual life? Hell no.

Any insight is appreciated. Btw ive already contacted Dr Clavell's office in Houston and im going to have a video consultation soon. Id be traveling from a diff country in the case i do decide to go with this. Would be paying out of pocket, money is not an issue if it means im getting this part of my life back.

I just turned 33 and I had known about the implant since 25 and wish I would've done it then. Do it now! Stop wasting your life. You will love it. Just do it. Nothing is worse than those feelings. And viagra would make me feel like crap all day so it ruined my day and sometimes the day after even. Go get the implant, thank your gf for being patient, and give her the dick she deserves from you and that you've always wanted to give her. It's amazing.

I recommend him without a doubt, and the friendly vibe carries through surgery and beyond. I wish I had found the success stories on franktalk when I was your age and looking into implants.

Nice to see Dr. Clavell has good reviews in this forum. Any advice before i go in? You lost any size?

Immediately after surgery I lost ~2cm length from pre-surgery size. I made it all back within a few months and I've even seen some growth beyond my pre-surgical size. But, don't go into the surgery expecting to increase your size, and definitely don't tell a surgeon that you're expecting it to increase your size, because most patients don't and surgeons do not want to do surgery on someone with expectations they can't guarantee.

Two pieces of advice:

1) if you have scrotal webbing (turkey-neck skin from the scrotum that runs along the shaft), mention it to Dr. Clavell and ask him about taking care of it during the surgery. It's an extremely minor cosmetic fix, but if you have webbing, this will make your shaft look more 'streamlined' and increase the visual size. He did it for me, it was a nice bonus.

2) consider the source of the responses in your thread. The guys who have had the surgery are very happy with the decision. The guys who haven't had the surgery are miserable and telling you not to do it. Draw your own conclusions.

I recommend reading my journal, particularly the first post and the last 3 posts. I think you'll find it relevant.

Yeah i definitely noticed that. I do notice some bias between the two camps. Also ive been reading old threads for like the last 2 weeks and i do noticed that the biggest regrets among implanted guys was that they didnt do it sooner.

I worried at first about the age of most implantees, i mean the expectations for a 60 year old man are different than those of a 30 year old for example. An older guy with his life pretty much in order, a loving and understanding wife etc, of course when they get a rock hard erection on demand, they geel in God mode. But i do wonder about how the general feeling of young implantees was.

TBH i dont care much about being too young, im not really ashamed by it, in fact i can even make some bullshit story to make me seem cooler lol, but what i do worry about is that if my expectations are too high because of all the experiences from older men that ive been reading, that may not apply to my current needs or wants.

This is one concept that i still dont understand even after reading so many threads. Often i see that with a good doctor, you will most likely keep your original lenght, but in some other posts ive read that your original erection lenght doesnt matter, but what does matters is your strecthed lenght?

What is that? Just grab my flaccid cock and pull it and see how much it stretches? Because 1) i dont want to screw anything in there by pulling too much just to see my lenght and 2) the times ive done it ive noticed that my natural erection is definitely bigger than my stretched lenght.

Of course my face would look like a swollen tomato and id get hot to the point women would ask me why i feel so hot to the touch but other than that, it worked wonderfully.

Until it didnt. Im finding myself having to mix both cialis and viagra lately and upping the dosages too. Now i have a girlfriend living with me and im on daily 20mg cialis basically. Im rarely horny (in part due to stress i guess), erections are weak and dissapear at the first chance they get.

Ive lost many opportunities over the years to have sex with beautiful women because i simply dont want to bother going trough the process of taking pills, chatting her up while wondering if the pill is going to work, worrying about cumming too fast and knowing i cant go a second round to save my life, etc.

At this point is both a physical and mental problem (as it always is with ED i assume), and i do wonder if its worth it to go the next 10 years or so of my life worrying about my ED as opposed to just having it ready to go whenever i want at the cost of some risk and some uncomfortable steps.

The damage Propecia inflicted on your hormone system needs to be addressed if it hasn't already. Also you can't ignore the fact that men's testosterone levels drop in their 30's it's just a sad fact of life. So even though it has been 10 years since Propecia pills, hormonal issues could certainly affect your libido today. Viagra and Cialis can probably cause slight facial flushing, but looking like a swollen tomato head seems a little much. Higher dose is not always necessary, and with that can come more of the negative side effects unfortunately. Another thing of concern is "daily 20mg cialis". I've never heard of that high a dose for daily use. Usually it is 2.5mg or 5mg, so you're way over that. Another thing to consider is the stress in your life. And just in case you missed it the first time, there should be no shame in having to make a slight adjustment with your hands to "fluff" yourself. That's why we have hands that reach our penis. I'm sure females use their hands!
So I'd definitely encourage you to have those hormones checked, checking your stress and maybe dialing it back on your boner pills if side effects are a problem. The next logical step if everything fails, would be to try those penile injection therapies that are available. Just trying to help a guy out.

Trust me man, ive been dealing with PFS for over 10 years now. Ive spent 10x as much time on forums about that condition as ive done in this one. Ive tried everything. I simply dont respond to any treatment. Im currently on TRT and while i notice a huge difference in every area, the one that doesnt seem affected by it is my sexual health.

Stress does play a huge part i will admit. Not sure if i want to go the injection route, i figure im going to be single shortly (thats a different subject) so im not really sure about experimenting with injection as a single man. I think that would be twice as stressful as timing the pills.

As of right now the way ive made it work with current GF is that she uses a vibrator on herself while she lays on her stomach and i give her oral or simply play with her body. Of course i use that time to give myself an erection and once she gets herself off, i slide it in and we start having sex. Sometimes is more spontaneous than that but most of the time thats the way we do it. She doesnt know anything about my ED (well ive had a few failures but she thinks its in my head), and i just told her seeing her masturbate is my beggist fetish (it really isnt lol), so she does it to please me (and she likes it a lot too), but this dynamic can get old real fast and i dont think its something that i can pull of as a single man on first few encounters with a different girl

It is not about length, but girth. You want a fat dick, not a skinny one.

Age has nothing to do with it. Either you need it or you don’t.

Thats not completely true. Depends how much you need it. Can i have sex? Yes. Am i happy with my current sexual function? Hell no.

Some people judging from those answers will say i absolutely need it, and some others would say that im crazy for even considering it. Its not that simple.

Sakabato, I can't tell you how much you speak from my heart. I can totally relate to your situation and experience. I am in exactly the same boat. I used the finasteride toxin for several years, no peoblem at all and then suddenly ED hit me hard. Now 20mg of Cialis will not do the trick anymore. Sometimes I really blame myself for taking this poison, but I can't turn back the clock. I can only figure out how to deal with this situation, therefore I can relate to your thought process.
There are only two things holding me back from an implant. First, since I've only had Ed for two years, I'm still hoping that my body will miraculously heal from PFS, that my body will find its balance. I know that's pretty unlikely, but what if it really is just around the corner and I'm "killing" my natural erections for no reason?
Secondly, I'm afraid of what my glans will look like. Giving away natural erections, no matter how unreliable they are, for a hard cock with a small soft glans, that's not a deal I'd be willing to make easily. I know that doesn't have to be the case, but it's something I'm afraid of.
Finally, I have set myself a time frame of another year. If nothing changes for the better, I will go for the implant. Just out of curiosity, do you also consider Hakky or Eid for the implant?

And a word of advice, talk to your girlfriend openly about your situation. I know it's hard, but it has helped me, my situation and my relationship so much. I told my girlfriend everything, including taking finasteride and that I was considering an implant. It was really liberating and took our relationship to a whole new level. I feel really blessed to have such a great and supportive girlfriend. If your girlfriend is really interested in you, she will be there for you, if not, she's not the one. Just my opinion.

Following this thread with great interest. I'm a fellow PFS sufferer (2.5 years) and am ready to turn the page.

Hopeful that this work out for you both.

Another finasteride sufferer here.

Screw finasteride. And screw all the finasteride lovers who say that the people whose lives it ruined are just liars or head cases.

I've now shaved my head and wish I did it long ago instead of taking all the dick poison I took to save my hair, as well as all the wasted money.

I'm 45, been dealing with ED for over 15 years. After becoming a hermit for a few years due to ED, I tried pills and injections which worked for me well enough to have some relationships, but the lack of the fun and intimacy from spontaneous sex has lead to the death of those relationships for me. Current GF is understanding about it, but admits having to time and plan sex around injections sucks. I've talked to her that I'm getting serious about considering an implant and she's supportive.

Injections were a life saver for me and if I had to deal with them longer I could, but they are a crutch that doesn't fix the problem of not feeling like a real man. Reading this site, it seems like an implant could restore that feeling.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

ya'll are tripping. fin indirectly caused my PD and ED. however i just did a lot of traction and VED. gained over an inch and now use injections.

injections are amazing. i also got really good at game and bang new women all the time. oh and i still take finasteride because having good hair def helps in the game.

love the fact that using injections makes my penis girthier and still consistently do traction and VED.

you can def get an implant + HA injections and have amazing results. however i would first do a year or so of traction and get the longest possible implant.

good luck.
