Size after penile implant

Hi guys I was just wondering if anyone can give me more info on the lose of penis size after the ams700lgx I am 6.75 inches flaccid stretch and 5.50 inches fully erect I have no preexisting conditions except I cant sustain a hardon for more then a few minutes, can I exspect to lose .50 inches 1.00 inches I would sure like to have some kind of idea of what my post op size would be oh and I am 5.00 inches around flaccid and 6.00 around when erect. Thanks guys any info helps tremendously.

My pre-implant flaccid size was 4 inches, 6 inches flaccid.
Now after the implant, it is 3 inches flaccid and 4 inches erect.
I was not prepared for this.
I think my surgeon did a poor job.
My penis is wider. My wife's vagina is not used to sex after 4 years of no sex. She is going to a gyn MD nextr week for a check up.
I hope all this surgery and suffering has not been in vain.

If you get the right surgeon, you should be close to your previous length. I was 6 1/4" flaccid pull presurgery and I am 5 3/4" length with 6" if I can get my head to engorge. Its the girth that is a let down. I had nice girth. I was over 5" before surgery and about 4 1/2" now.

My length is a lot less, but the girth is much bigger. My wife is impressed by the girth, just too sore in her vagina to let me use it right now, even with good lube.

Guys, i have been tracking penile implant issues off and on for over 2 years..I have been "off the air" for about a year now and just back to following comments.. I am still amazed at the variation is results that I read. I have put off this surgery as you hear many different opinions on results.Another reason I have delayed is my success with Trimix. Most experienced comments refer to the Doctor as the primary factor in success and post op diligence as the second most important factor..
Is this still the case?? Can anyone please comment on the long term success of trimix?? Will it loose it's effectiveness?? Any negative outcomes with extended use of trimix??

I used Trimix for 20 months. For the first 17 months it worked with only a few failures. About once every 3 months it would just not work. I assumed that was because I did something wrong. Then starting at the 18th month it failed to work most every time I used it. I went to my uro doc and he told me he had seen this pattern many times. He said that the Trimix is acidic so it eventually messes up the acidic - PH balance of the penis and causes the ED problem that it was previously curing. He told me that the only solution was to do the implant.

I have read on FT that Trimix has worked for some guys for many years, longer than it worked for me. So your mileage will most likely vary. If it is working for you I would stick with that until it no longer works. Any problem it creates due to the acidic issue does not affect how an implant will perform so that "next step" option will still be available to you.

One reason you might proceed to an implant while Trimix is still working is that there is always the possibility that you have insurance now to pay for an implant and you might not have in the future. Given the pressure to "fix" Medicare, there is the possibility that one day the government will change Medicare so that it does not pay for implants, just as it does not pay for Viagra or birth control pills now. How you weigh that possibility versus what is entailed in an implant is a personal thing that you decide.

MY size if anything has increased just slightly post implant. Definitely approximate .5 inch increase in circumference and about .25 gain in length. MY flaccid size increase was more significant, about 1 to 1.5 inches. This is at 7 months post implant.

In the prostate cancer group that I was in, every guy (including myself) who had a prostatectomy lost an inch -- and I'm the only one with an implant. (I understand that in the last few years, with the introduction of "penile rehab," that this length loss has been really helped a lot -- those of us in that group had our surgeries before penile rehab was introduced). But I didn't worry about losing an inch because I had 13" to start with.

Has there ever been a case of a successful implant that matched or was even slightly longer than stretched size? Fully erect, I am 7 inches. Pumped, I can be slightly more. But stretched completely flaccid, I'm lucky to get to 6 inches. I dont suppose they let you pump it before they measure it? :/ This sucks. I'm a single guy in his mid thirties and I've had really bad ED since 29. No great reason. Trimix put me in the ER with priaprism. Docs are starting to suggest implant but damnit, I don't like what I hear.
