Where is your pump survey
Where is your pump survey
I don't like the location of my pump and wanted to see where everyone else's is. I have the LGX (3-2013) and the pump is at the base of the penis on the right side. Its too high and causes pain for the both of us. I was told to pull and work it down but that didn't help. Doc has agreed we may have ot move it. Soo, just wondering. Where is yours?

Re: Where is your pump survey
My pump is located behind and under my right ball..I guess he put it there because my left ball hangs lower than my right so there is space for it there..its perfect where it is. I remember my instructions after the procedure was not to sit for the first week or so...I guess to keep it from being pushed up...were you told that?

mine is pretty much behind, below and between my balls....it's pretty accessible although I still can't find the deflate buttons...

Re: Where is your pump survey
My AMX is between my two testicles and at the bottom of the scrotum. I am 7 monhts post-op and it doesn't cause me much problems. Once in awhile I need to readjust things a little when my sitting position causes some complaints from my testicles or scrotum. But that is a minor nuisance compared to the good side of having a dick that works on command.

Re: Where is your pump survey
Mine has always been at the base of my scrotum below and between my balls. I have a large scrotum and it's way down there and is getting to be less uncomfortable. I can reach the pump and deflate buttons quite well but the pump is twisted sideways about 90 degrees which I wonder about but it makes it very easy to access the deflate button so I'm happy with it. My balls are out of the way completely. I see my doc to try it out this coming friday so I'll see what he says about placement. It feels right to me, but I still sit gently.

Re: Where is your pump survey
Mine is centered and low. Very easy to inflate and the deflate button is also easy to get too.
It does make my scrotum wider, but that's a plus!

Re: Where is your pump survey
My pump is between my balls about at the same level. Easy enough to do two handed inflation with either hand holding the block. It has never has been a problem sitting or other wise.
I am about a month ahead of Jere and our experiences are surprisingly similar.

Re: Where is your pump survey
Mine is somewhat high, centered in the middle, and in the back behind my testicles. The bottom of the pump bulb is a bit higher than the bottom of both my testicles. The deflate tabs are slightly above the top of both my testicles. Since I was (am still am) single, Dr Eid suggested he could put the pump where "my girlfriends would never find it". He said that with a grin of course. He also said it would be slightly less convenient to access it if he did that. I did feel that I might have had a slightly harder time that some do learning the best way to access the pump and deflate pads, but after a couple of weeks of practice I can say I found it no problem at all.
I really like this location, though I'm sure the best location might vary a lot from one guy to the next based in part on particulars of individual anatomy. I never am aware of it (except when I grab it to pump it). Its never in the way. It never causes any discomfort. Even right now, if I concentrate on sensing it (without actually touching it), I can't specifically feel it. Thats, sitting at my desk, getting up to walk around. Or walking 6 miles, or playing golf, driving a car, or anything.
I haven't been with all that many different women, but I've only had one who was ever able to feel the pump without me specifically showing her how to feel it. More that one was surprised to learn, after multiple encounters, that the pump was something she would somehow be able to feel. The one who did feel it spontaneously did so when she indulged her slight fetish to reach around and grab hold of my testicles and scrotum while riding cowgirl style. I think if someone does something like that they're going to feel the pump regardless of where it is. But, even she had no problem or any discomfort from the pump, or any other part of the implant, for that matter.

Re: Where is your pump survey
My pump was at the bottom of the scrotum and the tubing on top which kept the penis elevated at all times. Now that I have handled the pump, it inverted, it is directly underneath the penis, and looks like a third testicle. My wife and I have not consummated yet, due to her vaginal pain. She sees a doc. In the meantime I am trying to decide where I like the pump the best.
Re: Where is your pump survey
Thats what I thought. Almost everyone's is low and out of the way. You can see mine from across the room. Although everything works just fine, sex is painful to the both of us with the pump in it present location. I hate to go thru another surgery, but this has to be fixed. Maybe recovery wont be as long. Thanks for all your input guys !
