Surgery is done, in hospital till morning. They will remove catheter, and I can leave when I can pee.

I don’t have perones, and sure hope this bend has something to do with partial inflation and catheter weight? Haven’t seen doctor. Saw his assistant Dr before surgery, just nurses since.

Pain is about a 1 as a lie here, a bit of a throbbing. Worst has been about a 4. I’m on a half a pain pill every 6 hours at the moment.

I can’t figure out how to upload a picture, I’m such an idiot!

Once home, become a nudist (no bottoms) for about a week. Let it hang the way it wants to. And ICE as much as you can. Balls and shaft.

Very interested in your journey. I'm scheduled with Dr. Terlecki for Monday at Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem.

Hospital Fee 4,978.02
Doctor Fee 1,683.25
Anesthesiologist 1,066.35

Total 7,727.62

My Portion 980.29

I’ll update again if more bills come in later. If I had k own I could do it this cheaply, I would have done it a decade ago!!!

I have United Healthcare, UMR, through the DOD. Dr. Is Terlecki, hospital is Lexington Medical Center, south of Winston Salem North Carolina.

If you dont mind me asking, are you active/vet through the VA or civilian through UnitedHC? Im civilian DOD and have been told that UHC wont cover. To be fair that was over a year ago and now after injections I have PD and ED! Im hoping the combo will help with insurance…
