Just reading through some of the replies here either trying to dissuade you from implant or diagnose you otherwise- all I can say everyones particular circumstances/reason for ED is completely different. Not just a case of saying oh you’re young! Don’t get an implant! Which I find is very easily thrown around in here..

I have been very depressed and suicidal the last year because of this and see getting an implant a way out of this..
What made you get an implant?

I’ve basically been through all the treatments (none have helped/worked) so I’m at the end of the line with it all now, no other option really!

Hey Daniel29,
Everyone's condition is different. You mentioned that you have a low libido level. I think the decision to go for an implant or not depends on your ability to have an erection if your libido is back to normal. You need to get your libido level up first. If you still can't get a good erection, you should then consider the implant.

You’re able to get the operation for free on the NHS if you reach the end of the treatments. In terms of private healthcare it wouldn’t cover it if it was a “pre-existing” condition which it would’ve been for me!

The only other option would be to pay out of pocket privately- however this would be £12k plus for the operation alone, that’s not considering your initial appointment and any tests etc.
